    hi ,just wanna say you did an awesome job on review/tutorial and until this video that answered all my questions . That being said while i dabble in hiphop/trap im mostly a metal guitarist that cant make a beat almost of any type . But messing around for under 30 min its coming across pretty quick and from what i learned from your video and plus i learned from you that you can record vocals means i can record guitar and bass which is far out awesome ! Because unlike waveform or calkwalk or even garage band im just looking for something barebones basic especially in the guitar dept but not so much on the beat dept where i really need the help , Again thank you very much ,if there is a way to throw Roland your name out to them id be more than happy to hell as informative as you make it you should be sponsored by then . But till then thumbs up and subbed ,thanks

    It has a most of what you said was missing when you unlock it, and when sending midi out you want to go to the track itself rather than the midi preferences. I didnt go in with Stagelight, but I got this and after unlocking it and watching some tutorial on Stagelight really really taught me a lot about this app. I have a lot of IOS Daws, Beatmaker 3, Cubasis, Auria Pro, gadget, Nanostudio 2, Beathawk, FL Studio, IMpc Pro, Caustic, Multitrack Daw and more, and I can say I dont regret unlocking ZenBeats, if definitely does things the other dont, I and Id say pretty much every IOS Daw does things the others dont.
    One Major thing I REALLY like, is when youre working in the clip view, which is the one youre showing, is when you hold down the record button, you can record your clips to the timeline just like in Ableton, that was something I completely overlooked until I watched the Stagelight tutorials on TH-cam. I dont know of any other IOS Daw that does that.

      🤔 I'm considering it but I'm hearing that Auv3 is buggy in Zenbeats. Don't really feel comfortable spending ANY amount on something that won't work properly. What are your experiences?

    • @tonyrod9288
      @tonyrod9288 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I havent had any issues with auv3 as of yet
      I like the piano roll options such as being able to move notes up octaves or semitones easily with dedicated buttons
      Or shift notes off the grid with a knob

    I love this app, it’s a pretty full fledged daw in my opinion, there’s a lot of room for creation, I also love how informative you were for anyone unaware of how good this app is, also I’m constantly on the go and don’t have an iPad anymore so literally only use this on iPhone, so the fact you used your phone for the video is awesome. Thanks for your time and knowledge 👊 (oh and with the thumbnail photo, you definitely should’ve ended with a live performance on the mpk mini)

    Great video, I was wondering what things were new or different with this app and you explained them thank you. It might be worth getting the unlocked version but here in the UK, it is free at the moment, so it would be worth checking to see if it's free where you live. Also a beat making tutorial would be useful thank you.

    I notice I get another DAW once in a while bc each one does different things. On my PC and on my iPad. I might get this, if I do it will be like my 6th or 7th DAW lol. It looks kind of interesting. I notice you didn't have that much esteem for it though. Some ppl say that same thing, but I've seen a couple of rave reviews too. Guess it's up to me an individual to see where I'll fit in on the Like or Not Like scale, lol. Thx for the tips in here, thx for the demo.

      Bro ,as a customer how you feel that you have to buy the same app twice ? And none if your content gets saved or ported over to the rebrand aka new skin ?

    • @SonicSupremeSGT3
      @SonicSupremeSGT3 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@locutz Some positives, some negatives. I had to make edifications on certain Stagelight sounds to make that instrumental come to life. That, plus I had to edit certain parts with Roland Zenbeats from other beat-making files I got, imported it into Stagelight long before New Year's Eve, kept the Zenbeats App on and deleted the Stagelight one.
      Good thing I got Serato to edit some sounds I made back at that time. Once I edit that with the sounds made on Roland Zenbeats, I'll be wavy.

    I haven't seen one daw that has everything on iOS yet most of them lack sounds ...imaschine has great drums but only 4 tracks so then I have to stop in the middle of a idea and save to transfer when I get to studio on maschine mk3 ...beatmaker 3may be my fav but no sound support been out for awhile and very little sound packs available.

      That's like the third recommendation I've gotten today for NS2. I may have to check that out. I saw it months back but didn't invest in it. I really wished Intua could provide at least a BM3 Lite version for iPhone. With basic controls and that famous sample editor.

      You plug your Akai into the USB, plug a power cord into the Lightning, then plug the whole thing into your iPod.
      You can even plug all your midi controllers into a powered USB hub, plug the USB hub into the camera adapter, then plug the adapter into your phone.

    The only app that has a hardware sound is iMPC pro 2 , it doesn’t have a compressed sound its raw , sharp punching above its weight class giving you actual MPC sound. GarageBand is close but nothing beats iMPC because akai gave the developers the actual mpc software and told them to make an app out of it .there are other apps with better workflow but they can’t top iMPC pro 2 , I’ve tried almost everything even if you take the sound packs from iMPC they wont hit has hard but if you take soundpacks from other apps and put it into iMPC they hir harder . Artist used my beats from iMPC pro 2 and thought I used an actual mpc because they know I own a mpc live 2 . I use the app because they sound the same and I made a lot of beats in the car traveling from Nashville to Atlanta or Miami .
