Sarah is hands my favorite co-host; and I have listened to countless hours of startalk. She matches wits with Neil, she is funny, and she and Neil compliment each other better than anyone I have ever heard (w/ Neil)! She needs to be on all the time! She needs to be a regular; put her on the payroll! Bravo, bravo Sarah!!
Yeah, you could tell she was interested and had fun. I like that she didn't side track things as much as Chuck sometimes does. Would love to see her back!
Sarah is a really good host. The show had the right level of humour and seemed more serious and informative. No cracks or jokes to distract the listener.
This is really really great stuff and i love the format. Also this lovely co-host is a smart woman and can keep up well with the conversation while also being funny, very enjoyable and interesting to watch!
I agree with the others, Sarah is a really good host. She asks good questions, has good responses, and seems to have a curious nature. She may not be a scientist, but she has a foundation that allows her to not be stuck on basic principles.
Sarah needs to be in more Videos of Star Talk. She is definitely an interesting person and knows how to be a good host. This is my First time seeing her and she nailed it. A very sweet and funny person . Someone I want to be around with. And of course Dr. Tyson. No wonder Neil had her on the show. She deserves all the best in everything she does .
"I need but stick this in my heart, and down will fall the sky, And earth and heaven shall depart, And all of you will die". This can mean so much more.
You should bring this Young Lady back soon !! She really added to the show. Great voice, intelligent questions and thoughts , snappy come backs etc. Much loved this one.
After reading the comments I feel compelled to defend Chuck. This lady is fine, but she is no better at presenting than Chuck is. They simply have a different style. They both do a good job.
@Joe Horn ofc you are entitled to your own opinion. I think the point is you need to checkthe definition of cheap and vulgar because his "jokes" are cheap and vulgar. Now, if your threshold for vulgarity is different than others, that I cannot change
@Joe Horn well. Now I can see that you are just a troll. Not based on facts? I said go back and listen to old episodes, the proof is there. If you think your humble opinion is above facts and evidence that's your problem. Now, I think cheap and vulgar jokes are funny, but they need a time and a place and startalk is neither.
I really don't want to say anything negative about anyone, but Sarah was a MUCH better co-host than (the usual "nice" person who I won't name). She is razor sharp, dropping jokes that probably a lot of people didn't even catch the first time, she literally does her research (on the Andromeda galaxy's collision) and then she quotes poetry like it were something everyone does? Y'all need to give this woman a permanent position!
To use a baseball saying ... "outta left field" ... totally unexpected. If it had direction then it was directed and the Academy of Science will have none of that.
Sarah was great, I hope she could be back as a co-host, just imagine how awesome she will be once she gets the amazing chemistry with Neil just like Chuck.
@@victormkhaliphi2778 yes, the present is the center of the universe. i was thinkin about this the other night and that was the conclusion i got from what neil was saying.
Deja vu is when the part of your brain responsible for recalling memories starts observing current events. Making your current perception feel like a memory
Once when I was 16, I went to a house way out in the Georgia country side and before I entered the old house, I could tell you exactly the lay out of the place. Never been to the house before or even to one like it. Back in the late 60's, I didn't know what what deja vu was and let me tell you that it unnerved me a lot.
Sarah is great a great host. Ill always love Chuck though, but Sarah could fill in nicely. As for my favorite place in the Galaxy? Easy, there is this pizza join in NY that makes a great slice.
Karl Marx did not have a goatie... He had a big bushy beard. I have never seen a picture of him without it. You are probably thinking of Lenin, who had a goatie and was the first leader of USSR. Since americans culturally have been indoctrinated into a fear of socialism, and the mass entertainment media have been controlled by capitalist american corporations since the 1940's, symbols, such as Lenins mustache or eastern-european accents, are culturally associated with evil.
I'm no astrological cosmetologist, but I'm pretty sure of two things: 1. If the universe is finite it should have something roughly like a center, even if everywhere expanded away from the starting point, it would all expand around that starting point and that starting point would continue to be the center of a larger universe. 2. If you consider the average point in space of the big dipper, and travel double that distance from here through that average point, and turn around 180, it shouldn't matter that the stars are not actually on a plane because their projection onto the plane of your vision (or onto the plane of a picture of the constellation) should be the mirror -- unless there's something about gravitational lensing and the age of the stars or something that messes that up. But taking your pen-light example, if you walked closer the constellation would mess up but if you reached the other side of the room and turned around it should look familiar again (just reversed and with the dim stars bright and the bright stars dim).
Best startalk co-host ever. Sorry but u gotta dump chuck. Being just a comedian is not enough, dumb and cheap jokes never had room here. And Sarah is just the perfect fit.

The director of the movie Niel Referenced is Giuseppe Tornatore, he did the famous Malena with Monica Bellucci one of the best films ever.
Gotta watch that, thanks
Sarah was awesome! And you two bounce off each other incredibly well. Please make her a staple on the show.
The real star of the show (no pun) is Dr. Tyson's amazing vest!
"The Universe is not crunchy". This is Science at its very best.
She may be good but Chuck is also very funny. Period. And he too has gained the physics know-how over time with these sessions with Dr. NDGT
