One of the biggest mistakes Disney has ever made was to take this off Broadway. Wonderful play. Hope to see the revival very soon.

Agree! Ticket sales were fine in 2007 when it closed. I had a feeling the little mermaid wasn’t going to last long just didn’t have the magic. Since Beauty closed they had a tour and cruise, but nothing will ever live up to the Broadway production:)

Since the UK Tour with Courtney Stapleton came out, I have a feeling that they might revive it based on the UK Tour.
The only way I'd expect a professional production to be based on a 2017 production is... to bring it Off-Broadway
