One of the things I loved about Gary Beach was how much he truly loved playing lumiere, and he really was perfect for the role. Heaven is happier with this wonderful being up there.

i saw this show about 30 years ago on a sunday matinee performance at the chicago theatre. i was amazed by the effects, the music and the pizzazz of this production.

It’s so cute how obvious the animators clearly animated Susan. That’s what’s missing from modern Disney animation. I don’t see Kristen Belle, Indina Menzel, Mandy Moore, etc. The closest would maybe be The Rock? But everyone’s character movements and facial expressions are so generic. It’s like they went to art school and saw “this is how sad looks” and drew that.
