I’m looking to get one of these for my 2013 6.7 power stroke which has been deleted. Anything I need to look out for? Or just plug and play?

As a diagnostic tool these are plug and play. There is no tuning included in these devices in this form here.

After installing EZLynk 3 on my dodge Ram 3500 I now have a problem with gear hunting while going up a hill, can anyone give any ideas on fixing the problem. 2 weeks later, I now know my problem was my shift solenoid pack , put in a new one and truck is running better than ever with 241,000 miles.

If its tuned, I would have a conversation with your tuner and he will probably want logs.

Can you tune/reprogram a Chevy sonic ECM? Also can you update the TCM with these? I need to see about updating my TCM.

EZ Lynk does not tune the Chevy Sonics that I am aware of.

EZ lynk is not compatible with that model year truck yet. I do know that EFI live will.

I’m still running the 2. Definitely no real need to upgrade, but I’m right there with you as far as plugging in and unplugging. Mine rarely stays plugged in, but it is zip tied in place whenever I remember to do firmware updates. I also don’t switch my tunes around either though. I would have happily left mine plugged in, but I realized that for some reason with it being plugged into my OBD2 port with a splitter to also power my Amp steps, when I put the truck on the battery tender when it was going to be parked for a number of days, it would never transition into “float mode” and would also cause my dash lights to cycle on and off at weird intervals 😂. Kind of a weird glitch and may possibly be something with the tune too, but not important enough to really chase down an electrical gremlin like that since it was easy enough to remedy by just unplugging the EZ Lynk. Plus, the steps are more important on a regular basis anyway. I'll definitely be interested to see peoples' opinions of the EZ Lynk 3 as more time passes. I definitely like the more compact form factor of it!

Other than form factor, what's the difference between this and the auto agent 2?

    • @thoroughbreddiesel

There is increased capability here for the electronic logging system that EZ Lynk is pushing
