This one was the first balm or anything like it I ever tried. Severe irritation after a double edge razor shave prompted me to take a trip to a local store, and I found this Sensitive Postshave Lotion, took it home and applied a small amount. It worked as I hoped; or at least far less irritation upon applying it. Not at all greasy, either. Very strong fragrance, but I did not care. I just wanted to get rid of the burning irritation.
dollar shave club used to make a balm called miracle repair serum that they've since stopped making, which is unfortunate. easily the best balm i've ever used, which i also put on before a splash on aftershave. too many balms feel like hand lotion right after a shave but that dr carver stuff was perfect.
