I’m pretty sure most England fans would absolutely love to have Klopp as manager, but we’re not stupid enough to think it will ever happen!
Wouldn’t they want someone who wins often as a manager? Klopp has one title for Liverpool in almost a decade. Honestly they need a serial winner, not a serial loser. This generation of English players deserves it, they’re class and deserve a WINNER.

Honestly they were all teams we should have beat anyway, even the Germany team we beat was a shadow of its self and was easily beatable! Had we had a proper manager we would have won at least 1 tournament by now! Even if by some miracle he wins this tournament I’d still want him to go he’s a very reactive manager ! Only makes changes when he’s desperate rather than a pro active manager who sees what needs to change ! Klopp plays the sort of football that even non-fans of Liverpool or Dortmund acknowledge is worth watching. He's levels above Southgate in terms of management pedigree.

He never took the easiest route and made a great team worse (like someone I could mention at Bayern Munich a few years back) Klopp always took over a mediocre team and made them better

Germany played like France and England today for the most part back in the day. They had incredible players and knew how to be unit. It worked brilliantly for them as they almost always reached the semis or finals in every tournament. Only with the appointment of Klinsmann things changed towards a more pleasing approach.

Is there an English manager who is qualified for the England job, not really. Then you have to look elsewhere. Klopp would be the obvious choice, but maybe he is too energetic to manage a team which only plays 12 games a year. It's a pity that Ancelotti is staying at Madrid for another couple of years, he would also be a good choice.

Big name, experienced managers probably arent interested in managing international teams anymore.
I would look at younger, more inexperienced ex players who in their formative years in management to take over from Southgate instead. Maybe names like Gerrard, Lampard, Gary O'Neil, John Terry, Jonathan Woodgate, Michael Carrick, Rooney could be shortlisted.
With you on that, said for long time, top players and managers priorities are with Champions league. Very few countries managed by high level coaches. Think players more and more see end of season internationals as a chore.
