There is both QMK and VIA firmware for the pcb, you can just flash with either of those firmwares no problem like any other keyboard. Idk what not detecting means... You can flash any firmware with qmk wether it be official or not
oh wow, this kinda makes me not want to buy a daisy, but it's so cheap I feel like all this trouble is probably worth it. sorry you had so much trouble with it !

@@IconoclastMark oh trust me I know, their customer service is pretty terrible, but their boards are good for the price and other seller's price have gone up so much since the pandemic (mainly kbdfans) and shipping, while they offer free shipping, so I'm willing to risk it. in my eyes the risk is worth it, but to others who can get cheaper boards and shipping, it's probably not worth risking

The issue is that the qmk_toolbox doesn't work for this keyboard's boot loader.

@@katarinafoda3699 I would advise generally, KPRepublic is kinda bad at supporting their boards :/ but if you get them to work, they are nice!
