She’s the most complete artist in terms of versatility, most probably of all time. She can do it all. Afro-beats, rap, trap, country, soul, jazz, R&B (her trade mark), girl groups, dance, electro, techno, hip hop, rock n roll. You name it, she did it

Beyonce is one of those artists you cannot box. So many people want to assume that her music was just R&B or club hits. But it’s SO much more. Do a deep dive into Bey!
React to any of her live performances. Or just start with the lemonade album. I think you’ll like 6 inch, all night, or don’t hurt yourself

Beyonce's mother, Tina is from New Orleans. She has a Creole background. Her father is from Alabama..and she was born and raised in Houston, Tx.
So...she knows country and has been peppering it un her albums here and there. She also has a southern accent, that she's worked on reducing her country accents, although it's still very present and she's a proud Texan.
The CMA'S asked her to perform at their 50th Anniversary for awards.
She said yes, but only if the Chicks (fka Dixie Chicks) had their ban removed and they perform it with her.
During this year Beyonce's Lemonade album was going hot and the Chicks said they listened to it several times on their tour. They decided to cover this song on their tour.
Beyonce heard it and also was a fan of theirs for a long time. She invited them...they made a new version in the studio for release after the performance aired. Now it doesn't sound like the live performance, but it good.
That live performance brought the house down, and it was their most watched CMA ever.
There were racists comments posted on their website, and instead of the CMA'S sticking up for the guest they asked to perform, while shutting off the comments section and keeping the performance up.
But no...they did the opposite. They took down her performance and tried to claim that Beyonce called them and said to go ahead and remove it.
Natalie, lead singer for The Chicks, said that they put it back up later, but she had posted on her social media that it's ok if they took it down.
She said she got to perform with Beyonce on their dime. 😂
Country music was born from enslaved Africans..they brought and made the Banjo here to the new world.
Their music was taken without any credit...and now conservatives are telling Beyonce she doesn't belong in country music...when she's a southerner.
It seems ok for country people to do pop songs or trade up their genre into pop...and many of others have been doing country for years, but it's mostly ignored, unless black artists wrote music and did duets, in the past..
    No problem.
But, people hate her for being too good and refuse to say she is a megastar like MJ.
Both Michael and Prince have counciled her and pretty much praised her talent and discipline.
Idk if it's because she's unapologetic about going after what she wants without letting toxic people take her down...Idk if it's because she's a woman...but I think it's mostly because she's a black woman who refuses to be bullied and degraded like she's not the Mega star that she is, and refuses to stay where they think she belongs. She likes to challenge herself.
Had this been MJ or Madonna having another go around with more success, everyone would be praising their work, but here a bw does it and they can't accept it.
They put mediocre talent on a pedestal just so they can push her fame to surpass Beyonce. This is what this woman has to go through, but she does it with grace, imo.
I'd like to request that you watch her performance for (I was here) at the Humanitarian Day awards.
She brought visuals that pretty much went with the theme, and it was beautiful and emotional.
    Other things:
HOMECOMING, BLACK IS KING( either the behind the scenes video or the actual movie)
Maybe even do some of her visual albums, like BEYDAY album and LEMONADE, I AM SASHA FIERCE, her VMA awards show performances 2013 and 2016, Superbowl Half Time performance ( I think it was 2012..can't remember. )
Once you see and hear her excellent work and visuals you will want to continue the rabbit hole of discovery.

Beyonce's mother is from Louisiana (hence the New Orleans influence). Her dad is from Alabama and she was raised in Houston, TX. She is country. She's just not a country artist.

React to Run Away With Me by Carly Rae Jepsen if you are craving some sax moments. She really brings back the 80s sax, esp with this one.

Not you reacting at this so literally. 💀 Pls open your mind more with the lyrics and don't box the music.
And Beyoncé did A TON of genres in one album which this song is included. The name of album is Lemonade. She also did experimental music, strictly black music, pop, RNB, house and ballroom music.

@@OscarFlores-xc9xothe song is very nuanced and representative of not only her father-daughter relationship but her families legacy & history. It deserves to be respected. Music is more than just cool sounds. Her composition is one of her greatest talents and she’s using it in this album to tell a very detailed story.

    • @danielletildamoro9706
      @danielletildamoro9706 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@OscarFlores-xc9xo lol. Not you simping and supporting something that's completely WRONG.
Not every time it's all about your own vibe or perspective. This song is too specific to an ACTUAL STORY. It needs to be interpreted the way it supposed to be. And the pop at 50 was indirectly discrediting Bey by boxing her and her music. She's too talented and flexibly versatile to be boxed and seen like how her reacted.
