    The racking system is finally complete!!! The addition of the plants and catappa leaves means that they will be ready for shrimp in no time. There has been a shortage of imports but I think the supplly chain is now recovering so i'll be able to get shrimp soon :)

  • @PaulZyCZ
    @PaulZyCZ 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I didn't watch this beyond intro yet, but I plan later. I had cherry shrimps for over four years, really liked their swarm. Even tried some more sensitive varieties. Sadly they didn't survive moving (only two left). Too many changes, bad state of their tank.
    Also the water in my city (town) is rich on Nitrates, but it's also hard, so it's possible to dilute it with osmotic water (1:1 ratio). Both a local shrimp breeder and a fish store use this method for Neocaridinas. Crystals need harder water, so I suspect they add some minerals or use a different filtration.

    Hi Md great vid, have been waiting for this one for a while. I started 5 shrimp tanks a few weeks back as well.
    You should be careful with the lead, once it starts to oxidize (which can happen quite fast) it Wil become poisonous for any living creature. And since shrimp are quite sensative I'd not use them.

    A small remark about the piece of iron that you bind to your plant to make it heavier, this piece of iron/ metal contains lead and is very harmful to the water and therefore to your fish. Especially for shrimp. This leaks into the water over time.
    That is why it is a pity that a lot of shops continue to use this piece of iron for oxygen plants, for example. It is better not to do this!
    Also great video!

    Love the channel MD, don’t know anything about plants , but discus is my thing, Brother it’s time to use some clover oil on your discus at home and put them out of their misery, and what ever you do ,anything that comes out of that tank make sure it doesn’t come in contact with the new discus tank .
    some discus experts believe discus disease can be transmitted through the air?

    I like the raking system. Have you thought of adding emergent plants? Maybe plants on the outside of the tanks to fill in gaps and make it also look lush between tanks. You know what I mean?

    Would be amazing to see a few of the shrimp tanks become betta tanks? Like 3 for shrimp and 3 for bettas?

    Hi
    Love your channel, so informative and helpful. Love the vids you produce. Just a question about the gorilla glue. Can it be used if you have an established and stocked tank? I see you use it whilst settling up a new tank. I think it is an ideal situation for attaching plants but I,m a bit wary of using it due to my tank being stocked. Can you advise please.
    Best regards
    Jeff

    Hey, it looks great but it would look better if you should have aligned the tanks from the top line with the ones on the bottom one, and the separation between them 3 was the same, hehe, but it looks awesome!
