Liaka is a stunning dog! I worked for our local Humane Society as a supervisor for 15 years. I was also a Veterinarian technician. So I have seen thousands of dogs, and Liaca is a pretty German Shepard, she acts just like one to! Very vocal, and talks a lot! Those stones are stunning to, I have never seen anything quite like it before.
I love Rockhounding in hard to get to secluded locations. Its wild to see so many people Rockhounding feet from each other. With that said, the colors in the rock are very cool. Outstanding Mine owner for opening it up to the public for a few weekends. Looks like everyone was having a great time! That's all that really matters
Another great video. Your interview with the Mine Owner highlighted his efforts to bring this material to the attention of Rockhounders everywhere. You're a natural Jared. October sounds like a good time find some #NobleSerpentine.
Wow, so many people but after watching, I understand why. Beautiful stones and can't wait to see it in your follow up video. Thanks for taking us along.
Wow! What a great event. Such beautiful material, too. Looks like a really lovely day. Thanks for another fabulous video. Good to "meet" the mine owner. Can't wait to see what you do with this haul.

My first trip with the rock club. Met a lot of nice folks. Very nice to meet you, Sarah and Lika! I got some 20 pounds of this amazing noble serpentine! Great greens both light and dark, and s9me elegant yellows!
Hello Mark, I am very interested in this rock. Would you sell me a small quantity of the rough rock or some cabochon material? I would like to make pendants for friends an family members. Thanks, Joe Lake
I and my son had a lovely time we collected a very colorful selection of material. I did not get any blue though I am interested I do have some pink and yellow and some almost white with almost black stars very unique.
@@rebeccaofsunnybrookefarm8469 I paid 1$ per pound USD and we had cost associated with travel. We traveled some 7+ hours from our home to the site in easteren Washington. There are a couple of more open digs later this summer. I do not know if the price will differ. I do know all tools buckets ect are your responsibility. I suggest that you email currently rockhounding for more information.
Was a very interesting day! I absolutely love the material I got. I was wondering who came the furthest, Portland is about 30 minutes further than my drive. Thanks again for a great adventure!
Hello CR, great video, and nice interview. I would love to make it out there, I think I'd go crazy filling buckets, it's beautiful stuff. Thanks for making the video and sharing it with us.

Wow the turnout is pretty amazing! I'm sure the mine owner appreciated all the rockhounders! The color is incredible, I wish I lived closer I would love to check it out. Hopefully I can come out to your next event!
Man that is some cool stuff. Debating whether or not to come up in July and coming back home with a hundred pounds of green stuff to give away to friends and family
is it still open this holiday weekend, may I ask ? If It is would you give us the direction to go the mines? We are from Portland- Vancouver area. Thank you
I didn't see any with the pink. I found some dark green pieces with the blue streaking inside it. Such an assortment out there. Any suggestions on removing the magnesite besides chipping it away?
can you talk a bit about the asbestos content in the particular mine's serpentine? I looks like truly beautiful stuff. Are there asbestos issues with tumbling, slabbing and polishing?
Hello Marlene, this is a subject we have covered a number of times on this channel since we go to a number of locations that do in fact have Asbestos. In short natural asbestos isn't really that bad for you, and it won't become air born if you do not grind on it or cut it dry. This mine most likely has small amounts of it but I didn't personally find any, the white you see on the rocks is almost entirely Magnesite that has been fractured and weathered. It all comes down to time of exposer really, but that's pretty much everything in life. I hope this helps some.
Hello, I just subscribed to your channel after finding this video on Noble Serprntine or Healerite. would you be willing to sell me a small quantity of the rough rock? I would like to make some cabochons from this material. I really like the rock. Thanks, Joe Lake
They are found together often. Its a subject we have covered many times here on the channel. Natural Asbestos and what is in an old building are two very different things.
Hey! I live near the Central Coast (Santa Cruz-Santa Barbara), California. We got serpentine everywhere, blue-green-grey stuff that tumbles off the mountains and blocks roads, dumps itself onto beaches, and plants itself in otherwise arable land. Ya want serpentine? C'mon down. Grab a load for free. We could ship a ton or so direct to you, no charge, glad to get rid of it. LOL Still this was a very interesting video. Thanks.🪨🪨🪨🪨🪨⛏⚒🛻🏄🌊⛰🌄

I think there might be some changes at the mine in the future to help expose even more.
Some nice green color to it and I liked how well it tumbled and polished up I seen some at a rock show I should of bought some 😑
I would highly recommend this material.

I know the sound was an issue, I just got a dual wireless mic setup in the mail so I will be using those from now on.

I have ideas for removing it but as of right now I'm just chipping it away.

Are you planning to return for one of the other open weekends, or do you feel like you have enough for a while? I'm hoping to make the July weekend.
I will be going back at some point here in the future for some proper digging time, I'm just not sure when.
What is the hardness of this material
In my testing I'm getting between a 4.5 and 5.
Is it pink Serp...
What?
Cool material, serious turnout! $1/lb seems fair
I think that's a fair price for something you dig yourself.

I'm sorry but I don't sell rocks however the mine owner does.
Wow what a turn out! They should have served alcohol to all these miners!
