This cracks me up. As a weekly CA to Mx traveler on two wheels and with my family on four, there is such news-driven mania. Mexico is super safe, fun, and relaxing. I've traveled all over the world with the same hype. If you want trouble in any country, you'll find it. Travel, have fun. Oh, and you missed the first turn to head south.
the mani hasn't stopped. Literally every single damn country so far (currently as far as Chile) warns of of the next / surrounding countries and their impending banditos. I know theres a lot of crime and bad dudes but still.. the fear is over emphasized from pole to pole. (maybe not in Canada)
Thanks lol I'm doing this in a few hours and I realized I booked my hotel in Tijuana and I have never crossed the boarder especially on my motorycle lmao only flown to Mexico.
Amazing! All the emotions.... hilarious as usual, exciting, nervous, adventurous, and just blown away that you are driving a motorcycle in Mexico. The camera view while riding is a first for me.... felt like I was there. I kept holding my breath, it must be a wild ride for you. Thank you for making videos, sooo well done, and I always make sure I am not drinking anything... those clips you insert always make me laugh. Much gratitude for taking us along.
hahahah C Toth! the fact you try not to drink while watching it perhaps THE best compliment for my jokes /. humor I have or ever will receive. Wow. I am about to start editing a new edit in a few minutes so this is huge encouragement haha
We drove a beetle all over western Mexico (except Sinaloa). Often stayed off toll roads because the free roads are more interesting. Never really an issue with anything but the annoying checkpoints randomly dispersed by army or police. Back then(2009-2014) gad stations were rarely placed near big roads so you needed to enter small towns to refuel. Pretty annoying if you want get some kilometers down. Bring spare fuel for peace of mind.
jealous of those awesome memories you must have! id encourage anyone to face their fears and see that most of it is made up in your own mind just like these ones were
Ummm. My friend just gave me a KLR 650 with those exact boxes... And after spending coove in South America and Mexico, I was just thinking (after having a whatif type of idea)... I still work remotely, and am currently in San Antonio with this bike (doohickey done) sitting out back under a tarp. And I've already drove a 2000m rt from Austin To Guanajuato and I speak Spanish... AND I WILL NEVER, EVER DRIVE AT NIGHT THERE AGAIN. Soooo, a YT search and yours is the first video I clicked. I think this is fate! ThumpThumpThump... I'm now passed the 'whatif' stage... Thanks for the confirmation, *A.
I am in Nicaragua right now and even a lot of Nicas say they are afraid of Mexico/Guatemala/El Salvador. But... it seems almost every country I get to says that all the other countries are dangerous and scary...
ahh thank you!! These videos are like 2-3 weeks behind... crazy I know! But it has been really hard to even get out 1 a week because I still want to put lots of hours into them. Gotta be patient and stay tuned ;)
yeah i was a noobie for sure! No idea what I was doing (still not too much of an idea, honestly). Thankfully I had my tip and insurance and just paid the $60 fee when exiting for not having my visa

Your editing kills me-every time! Safe travels, I can't wait to see how this all unfolds. That was like a private hostel.
haha a private hostel indeed. I love editing! I hope i can make this into a longterm thing.
I used to run down to Tijuana to pick uo tacos from Francs and return to San Diego, all the time, but sure - feel your fear.
jealous of those awesome memories you must have!

Lol, the real scary part is when you return back to the USA from Mexico
hahah so I have heard... especially if I go to brasil...!!
You didn't register your bike. Did you buy Mexican motorcycle insurance?
yeah i was a noobie for sure! No idea what I was doing (still not too much of an idea, honestly). Thankfully I had my tip and insurance and just paid the $60 fee when exiting for not having my visa
What happened to you? You stopped the videos.
I stopped pointing a camera at everything and started just living it :)
@@JeremiahLukeie got lazy.
87 octane of Mexican gas for your bike...
burns right quick it does... keep an eye on that tank in Baja
Of course, it's DANGEROUS. Do you not read anything?
reading about it all can be double edged sword!
@@JeremiahLuke Is this another form of "knowledge is dangerous", Jeremiah? LOL Good luck and keep safe!! 🙂
