They don’t always lip sync. The footage of Their performance in Istanbul was actually dubbed but they performed completely live. In their Spiceworld 1998 and 2019 tours, they didn’t lip sync. They didn’t lipsync in the Christmas in Spiceworld tour either. They were only forced to lip sync for some TV performances.
There's a video on TH-cam of the mic feeds at ROTSG and they were actually singing this song live! For some reason their mics were all just on mute so you can't hear anything.

Indeed. They could never do it like the album. but earl's court was live and, to me, was a good live version of the song.
