Tigress lasted longer than the F5 especially without assist, I have to say I knew her chances were higher at defeating Tai Lung than everyone else because she obviously the potential to be the Dragon Warrior if it wasn’t Po or Tai Lung. I personally think Tigress should’ve had knowledge and battle IQ. She’s seen as an intelligent and formidable opponent in the trilogy and the spin off series, she’s quite impressive. Tai Lung mainly relied on his combat skills,strength, and power,Tigress is not too different but she also uses her intellect snd analysis her surroundings and immediately plans an effective attack.
Considering he knew things she didn’t like the wushi finger hold or however you spell it, and the same technique that immobilized all five. It wouldn’t make sense for her to take battle IQ. Skill is the same as how is someone more skilled, then someone who out skilled them.

It’s just unlucky for Tai Lung that Po countered nearly everything he threw at him. In the second movie they further up the ante with the invention of cannons, and still Po found a way to counter even that. They intentionally make you underestimate him, he’s inexperienced in the first movie and “just a big fat panda”, yet he’s extremely strong and talented. The huge difference between the two is that Po remained calm during the fight. If Tai Lung didn’t let his anger and emotions get to him, he may have been more focused and stood a chance.
What people don't realize is the fact he was a noodle chef was the reason Po beat Tai Lung. Po knows that anger dilutes Kung Fu. He knows he can't beat Tai in a head-to-head fight. So he uses his social intelligence and realizes just how badly the scroll means to him. Makes him work hard for it. Tai sees nothing. His spirit is crushed. Po goes for the kill and curtains. None of Jade Palace's warriors could have worked it out. Why the didn't have the social experience Po did.
