      Looks like the key light just needs to be a bit stronger.

    I realized that this was a much better everyday bag than trying to make it my main camera bag. Love this vid Austin, great seeing you grow man!

    Loved your video, Austin! It was very timely. My Peak Design 20L arrived today and I found your video. I reconfigured the backpack like you suggested and it's ready for our trip to Rome this Saturday. Thanks for your help! I have the Canon R5, EF 11-24mm, RF 28-70mm, EF 24-105mm and an EF 35mm f.1.4, three batteries, charger, EF to RF ND converter and an iPad. Crazy how much is in there.

    It's crazy. I just looking around the internet for reviews of this bag, and got thinking if I'm able to put my Steam Deck on this bag. Searched the youtube for the name of the bag + steam deck and boom! I found gold.

    As someone that recently picked up this backpack, this was very inspirational on the potential of the backpack. Thank you for sharing!

    Great video! I’m just amazed every day by this backpack, can throw my Sony camera with 16-35 GM with a side divider for my 50 GM and leave the other side for a 200-600. Really amzing and capable!

    Definitely revamping my peak bag configuration. I took all the dividers out cause I was fed up with the lack of space but I'll try this out soon

      okay, I was going crazy because this bag had no space to me. I will try removing the dividers as well

    Thanks Austin! I use Peak Design dividers in all my bags and camera cubes. I’m currently outfitting a Tenba Axis and your vid was perfect, thanks!

    Mind blown! I’ve been using the default configuration for years and didn’t consider this change. I’m going to try it out. I carry a camera and drone and like this much better
    Thanks for your time and work!

  • @MichaelSeneschal
    @MichaelSeneschal 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I have this bag as well. Doesn’t that metal zipper at 3:17 make you nervous RE scratching your camera? I tried all sorts of divider placements but ended up reverting back to the default because of those side pocket zippers rubbing against my gear. Default meaning aligning the divider with that zipper

    Hello Austin.
    I am thinking of getting this one. One query I have.
    Are the shoulder straps very comfortable for long carry with heavy load? I have been using a NorthFace Surge for 11 years. 😅

    • @austinjrupp
      @austinjrupp  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Yes the bag is very comfortable for long periods of time! I have carried on hikes and though Disneyland with a full load and never had any issues!

    Great video man! Was this recorded in Slog-2? If so, do you expose 2 steps above it then?

    • @austinjrupp
      @austinjrupp  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was shot in S-LOG 3. I usually do expose 2 stops above, but honestly I’m not a huge stickler for it. I’ll shoot anywhere in between +0.3 - +1.7

    Water bottle INSIDE the bag ?!?!? Bad idea! These bags have outer pockets that work great for water bottles etc.

  • @RobertVanderStelt
    @RobertVanderStelt 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I hate this bag. I got it and tried to use it like you, but lenses wobble around too much. Camera doesn't feel protected and its so easy for things to fall out if you're not always holding this up. The top always has a small gap where the magnetic flap is for things to fall out.

    seeing that you use a 16 inch macbook pro, would you recommend a 20L or 30L version of the backpack? first time in the channel btw, great video

    • @austinjrupp
      @austinjrupp  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the support! I would recommend the 30L if you have a 16in laptop. A 16in Laptop will fit in the 20L, but it’s a tight fit! Hope this helps!
