I absolutely love my 45L. Might be my end game of travel packs! The hipbelt works wonders with comfort, I can access things from all 4 sides, love the front compartment and being able to tuck it away, love how it can shrink down and love how it can expand if you really need it. Also finally a bag that does great water bottle compartments and the secret zippers behind them. Only thing is that's pretty big on your back... But what did you expect with a 35L-45L backpack
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Looks really good with the X-Pac fabric. But I got rid of my Peak Design backpacks - too heavy, and the compression buttons on top just do not work. They unfasten every time you lift the bag from the floor by one of the straps. What's the point? :(
@@jopi24johannes For heavier trips I got an Alpaka X-Pac 35L - way more comfortable for my taste. Also, for shorter trips I got an Osprey Tropos. They are so good with their harness system - it's beyond anything!
Never pick up a bag by shoulder strap. Always by grab handle on top, to your knee then thread your arm through and slide packnbalance slide other arm in . All manufacturers recommend, or puts undue stress on strap thats not designed for that. Most people make this mistake
@@TLhike yeah, right... 😼 What else - do it only in the full moon? Facing East? Sorry, man. The bag should be tough but comfortable. Easy to handle, tough to break. Simple as that.
I find their harness system so uncomfortable for the weight of the bags. It’s a shame as I think they’re so well designed and would love for them to work for me
I agree. Had the 1st or maybe 2nd gen 20L PD backpack and found the harness rather stiff and uncomfortable for the weight. So I can imagine with 30L or heavier.
glad to see that PD is using the xpac, too bad they don't offer that same material in all their colours. .... it's one step closer to the tortuga pro 40L material wise.... would you agree? which would you choose for one bag travel?
I have the regular travel pack and it’s ok. Needs more padding in the shoulder straps, pretty uncomfortable under heavy load. The magnets that hold the straps are strong enough that they triggered my laptop’s power, causing it to turn on in the backpack. Not an issue with any laptop that doesn’t have the “open to wake” feature, though.

Thank you for watching and that’s awesome to hear the bag has worked out so well!:)
Great review very thorough thanks. Looking at the aer ultra but damn thats sexy in coyote! Just ordered the L wash pouch in coyote.
Thank you for watching! That’s awesome you got the wash pouch and definitely a tough choice between this and ultra!

got the 45L and waiting for my large camera cube. Great investment for sure
Great info buddy...
I'm thinking of travelling to SE Asia in 2025.
What's the best carry on bag on the market? What would you pick ?

Any thoughts on the confort of the 45 with ~10kg?
Does the different fabric make a difference in weight?
can't decide how I feel about that color. When in some light it looks matte and really awesome. In others it looks shiny and gold?.. ehh
Thank you for watching and fair point, i do wish it was slightly more matte like the 30l huckberry collab
Does the 45L have a key leash anywhere?
Exterior looks very similar to aer pro pack at first glance
Damn those look fire, but dangerously close to the CTB!
Thank you for watching! Definitely a fan of so many bags starting to be available in coyote!!:)
Too shiny tbh, not for me
Thank you for watching and that’s fair, although I like the fabric I agree it is a little shinier than some of the other coyote bags that I’ve used
Came to say the same. Love the color combo (coyote/black), but I saw it in person and it was way too shiny-makes it look cheap.
