my pathfinder overland build was written off recently. Funny enough I'm torn between a 2014 F-150 or a 2015-2018 Frontier. They would both be capable with locker, lift and 35s on f150 vs 33s on frontier. I guess I have to weigh comfort+space to the frontier being able to go on tighter trails. Do you find yourself going many places where a full sized like the F150 wont fit?
Funny enough, the F-150 in the video had 35's and I have 33's lol. But great question. I've always been biased and full vs mid size, but in reality you could fit a full size down 80% of trails I've been on. If you need the interior space, I'd go full size, if you don't the Frontier is just right.
Old man emu HD lift. Front also has a .5in coil spacer, and cjd racing inner and out tie rods... no sway bar. The rear now has bilstein extended travel shocks and a 1.5in rear shackle.
I did have just the old man emu HD lift with 1.5in shackles.. now it's Front: OME HD lift with a .5in coil spacer and cjd racing heim joint inner and outer tierods The Rear: OME Dakar HD leaf packs, 1.5in shackles and the shocks are 5125 3 to 4in extended travel bilsteins.
Was the Ford a 4wd?
Yes, it was 4wd, his first time taking it off road
I would like to tag along if you guys ever go down again. Located in Wooster.
Nice video!!

Is that the DBBB trail you are on
No sir, this is vinton county in ohio
That route looks like a ton of fun.
Oh it is, and every month the trails change a little
Whats the road you are on in this video?
I actually don't know the true name of the road, but it's off of E fork road. Hard to miss If you go down it.
Ford did decent for looking pretty stock
I agree the F-150 is stock on 35's I was rather impressed. I'll say if it had 33's like me, it would have struggled
@@OhioFrontier Yeah it's still pretty heavy definitely needs some suspension mods lol
Love your frontier man, what’s your suspension setup?
