I don't think tech now was never meant to switch over to the next generation for little improvement. Or an major upgrade from the previous generation of last year tech. It's supposed to buy it if you have an outdated tech and you want something new at that time. For example, I bought the Samsung 10.1 tab A in the year 2019. Last year, I wanted a bigger screen, so I got the s8 ultra tab , which was big and an upgrade improvement from my previous tablet. I think tech has so much better technology inside of it, memory, storage , processer, etc. compared a decade ago where you need to upgrade to the next generation but not anymore. S9 series will fade out like the s8 series, etc. So in the next couple of years, it will be s11 and s12 and so on. Is to buy it now if you have an outdated tech at that time you need it. But if you don't, then don't buy it. So I,m keeping my s8 ultra tab probably won't upgrade until the s12 or s13 ultra tab then I will see an upgrade or major improvements over the s8 ultra tab. I wait until several generations to see a difference. That's my 2 cents. Lol. Ps. I'm watching this on my s8 ultra tab.
@RoyalRajan-r1l I think the s9 ultra will become cheaper by black friday because they want to get rid of it in inventory, so they can sell the s10 ultra. That's what happened last year with s8 ultra , it went way down to $699. That's why I got it instead of the s9 ultra at that time.
@@tiffanyt9329I bought an S9 ultra on sale for $799.99 from Samsung mobile only a few weeks ago. Now, Samsung gives $800 for trading in a s9 ultra to pre-order s10 ultra for $1199.99 until tomorrow.
Updates aren't important for tablets or phones. I had tablets and phones that were over 10 years old (updates stopped a long time ago). I never noticed any difference in features or performance for each update anyway. So 4 years vs 7 years is irrelevant. Plus most people (on average) upgrade every 3-4 years anyway due to battery life issues.
Thank you for the comparison. I will stay with the S9 Ultra. I'm both uses the same keyboards. Does the PIN on the tablet matches the keyboard receptacle. Keyboards for the S9 Ultra is difficult to find online and my local electronic stores. Hopefully Samsung will have these available amply online.
If you have the S9 you can just go to customize keyboard and assign the AI button to a shortcut button so command plus whatever u want. I just did this on my S9 plus
Thanks for this comparison! Though I jumped in for the fold and flip 6 upgrade to my 4's... I'm holding on to my S9 ultra. For a marginal upgrade, the s9 ultra still is right up there with the best either for casual use and for heavier workloads when a laptop isn't at arms reach.
so the real argument is the reflective coating which is nice because the mirror effect outside is real. The processor upgrade is not noticeable because the s9 already does everything instant. i wanted to upgrade but after seeing those small changes i wait for next year.
From a person who had to actually purchase the two tablets. The S10 is actually slower then the S9 ultra. You can't tell the difference when you're doing anything except for looking at the frame rates with games. However definitely a noticeable difference as the game heats up. Frame rate drop tremendously on the S10 ultra. This is not an upgrade this is a way of Samsung making more money by putting a cheaper processor in.
Great video, thanks for that 🙂 I have an old Samsung Tablet a7 I think it is, and it has become so slow that it's almost unusable most time, so gonna upgrade to the newest also because it's not that expensive compared to how expensive the S8 and S9 ultra was

I just bought the S9 Ultra brand new. Did my research beforehand and all tech TH-camrs I trusted said what was said here: "get the S9 Ultra if it's considerably cheaper. Otherwise, get the S10 Ultra." With a $300 trade-in, I got my S9U for roughly $600. With the same exact trade-in, I would've gotten an S10U for $900. (These are comparing apples to apples btw. Both 256GB models). Edit: entered exact prices instead of guesses from poor memory.
I got my tab s9 ultra for a bit lower than 700 usd at that price I think its unbeatable, here's how bro I got you I ordered through samsung shop 1. new account has 50 dollar discount 2. choose student discount in particular they don't check that one 3. get a referral code online or from an account you already have 4. wait for Samsung shop discounts add the tablet to your cart and see if they have any discounts changing the storage and color might have different discounts,
@sakitech Are you able to adjust the resolution size on the display settings? When I got my S9 Ultra I was bummed I couldn't change the resolution on the tablet, wondering if they put it back to the S10 or still not available.
Need more apps that can use these tablets fully. It's frustrating that it's more useful with web apps or as a wireless display for windows than for native apps. I use mine daily and it's brilliant but it's frustrating developers aren't pushing the limits of the hardware.
On the Samsung Shop site, It is showing I can get an $800 trade in for my older S9 Ultra, plus another $40 for the military discount. That is for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB memory, so I could upgade to the new S10 ultra for $359.99 plus tax and shipping is free. Or there is the second option of 12GB RAM with 512 GB memory for $467.99. The third option is the the 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage for $737.99. I don't think the 2nd or 3rd option are really necessary. So if one is on the fence this could be a good deal.
If you have an S9 Ultra, literally no reason to upgrade. If you were coming from an S8 Ultra and they offered $800, then I can see that being compelling.
Hi, can you try it out, is the cover keyboard from the S9 Ultra compatible with the S10 Ultra? I'm interested in the magnetic back part because I thought the hinges were great. I have the S7+ with the two-part keyboard and I mostly only use the back part and there's an S9 Ultra keyboard for 160€ but the question is whether it fits.
Is there a difference in years of software updates. I think that the s9 gets 4 years and the s10 gets 7? I keep my tablets for many years. Thanks Saki.
Howdy! Can you help clarify what the fastest SD card the 10 ultra supports? I don't want to waste my money on an SD card speed it doesn't support but I can't find that data on their site!
If I could get S10 ultra at the same price as S9 Ultra and currently I don't have any android tablet, would you recommend it? Use case scenario is usually the same with any tablet.
I have upgraded the last few years and plan to again. I have the S9 ultra and plan to get the S10. I agree that they are mostly the same, so then why do I always upgrade? Everyone's case is different, but in my case, I am retired and somewhat bedfast, so I spend an enormous amount of time on my tablet. For me, it's the knowledge that I'm getting a brand new one for 400 which is worth it for me because my S9 has a lot of miles on it, seeing that I use it every day for a lots of hours.
I’ve been using my Tab 8+ 16GB ram with my Galaxy Book 3 Ultra 32gb ram Windows Pro as a second screen but mostly as a mirroring screen to edit photos using windows editing photo programs (Topaz Photo AI and Video AI for example)with the use of the Tabs S-pen. I wouldn’t be surprised though if next year they come out with a vastly superior Tab to the 10 and the similar 9:) History seems to say.

I wait until several generations to see a difference. That's my 2 cents. Lol. Ps. I'm watching this on my s8 ultra tab.
True. Even I bought a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra for 1000$ after I found out the S10 series would be equipped with a Mediatek processor.
My S8 ultra with the snapdragon gen 1 processor is perfectly fine thank you and I will not be upgrading
Same here..
Same here...
Only reason why I held out for the s9 ultra - ip68 resistance. You never know when a drink will be spilled
Even mi tab s7 works perfectly (the normal s7 not the fe one)
Great review. Keep up the good work.
Excellent demo of the glare, showing both screens at once showing the same light source.
Qué buen video!!! Muy claro. Muchas gracias 👏👏👏👏👏
you forgot something really important: the tab s10 ultra gets 7 years of updates compared to 4 years on the tab s9 ultra !
If you're considering upgrading the SO, you probably won't wait 7 years to upgrade the S10.
Where did you get this information from?
@@ItsBrown__ most of flagship devices that samsung release this year has this 7 years update policy i guess.
@@ItsBrown__It's right on the Samsung website under "specs".
PLEASE TRY TO SWAP THE KEYBOARDS, AND TRY THE A.I. BUTTON ON TAB S9 ULTRA........ s9 ultra user here

@@rjaren ive read in sammobile it doesnt work on the s9 ultra i guess we have to waut for a software update
If you have the S9 you can just go to customize keyboard and assign the AI button to a shortcut button so command plus whatever u want. I just did this on my S9 plus
@@lordmar9077 eu também fiz e consigo editar as fotos com ia igual ao s10
Excellent comparing.. thanks
Great video, thanks for that 🙂 I have an old Samsung Tablet a7 I think it is, and it has become so slow that it's almost unusable most time, so gonna upgrade to the newest also because it's not that expensive compared to how expensive the S8 and S9 ultra was
I have a tab s6 lite gone very slow now so I'm planning on upgrading but is there any point getting the s10 ultra or shall I just get the s9 ultra
Go with s9 ultra much less money almost same functionality
I have the 12GB 256GB S9. Fantastic machine. Not changing it anytime soon. I year now. it got a few more years before i change
Just heard about this tab when I was searching for a KB case for my S9 Ultra. Glad to see the externals are the same. Surprised it didn't have a SD-8G3.
Honest Review ! Awesome
I upgraded from my S7 Plus with 500 GB to my current S9 Plus with 1 TB. I still kept my S7 because it can get cellular connectivity but i see no reason for the S10!
Thank you booked S9 Ultra💥💥💥
❤ from India
From where? And pricing
@@shubhamlade8213Get s10 ultra it's only costing 4k more than s9 ultra on samsung corporate website if you have corporate logic you can purchase from there for cheap
Thank you Sakitech.
@sakitech. Is the Wifi 7 module on the S10 quicker than the Wifi 6 module on the S9 from a Wifi 7 router under the same testing conditions? And if so by how much? 0:00
Thank you very much for your comparison between SO series and S10 series.
I'll upgrade from my Tab S7 Plus to S10 Ultra because S10 series will get next 7 years updates. Tab S9 series only 3 years.
It's just me or display of S10 Ultra is more crisp and detailed when you play videos? At 4:47 for example
Audio lover hone ke naate, quad stereo speakers sunke bahut khushi hui! Mediatek ke saath media consumption best hoga!
The photo ambient wallpaper setting in the A.I. menu I "think" was in the wallpaper settings on the older model, and on my S23 phone, which i traded in. I remember seeing that setting
I just bought the S9 Ultra brand new. Did my research beforehand and all tech TH-camrs I trusted said what was said here: "get the S9 Ultra if it's considerably cheaper. Otherwise, get the S10 Ultra."
With a $300 trade-in, I got my S9U for roughly $600. With the same exact trade-in, I would've gotten an S10U for $900. (These are comparing apples to apples btw. Both 256GB models).
Edit: entered exact prices instead of guesses from poor memory.
That's why I'm staying with my s9 ultra and waiting and seeing what's up with the s11 ultra. Thanks for the info 👍🏽
Same here,
I think upgrading the device after 4 years is a good option.
S11 will just have 5% more tougher aluminum.
Is there option increase saturation in s10 ultra like zfold6?
Anti glare coating is not serious reason to upgrade tab S9 Ultra 😅
Ya say that... The fact that you say that. You haven't held an S24... You should step out one of these days go hold on at your cellphone dealer.
Hopefully, there's a black friday sale on the tab 8 ultra
I got my tab s9 ultra for a bit lower than 700 usd
at that price I think its unbeatable,
here's how bro I got you
I ordered through samsung shop
1. new account has 50 dollar discount
2. choose student discount in particular they don't check that one
3. get a referral code online or from an account you already have
4. wait for Samsung shop discounts
add the tablet to your cart and see if they have any discounts changing the storage and color might have different discounts,
@@flyingbanana9712 damn ill try it out 👍

There were already pretty good deals on used ones i got mine for 400$ a few months ago..
@sakitech Are you able to adjust the resolution size on the display settings? When I got my S9 Ultra I was bummed I couldn't change the resolution on the tablet, wondering if they put it back to the S10 or still not available.
Well, i guess my Tab S9 is staying for a while more with me
Nice comparison. Watching from Ghana, West Africa.
How are you? I'm from Moscow
Bro thats a horrible deal. The S10 and S9 are exactly the same. Your basically giving Samsung 350$ for nothing
I would say go with the 256GB if u plan on using the SD card for more storage and if not then 512GB is better for the price presented
If you have an S9 Ultra, literally no reason to upgrade. If you were coming from an S8 Ultra and they offered $800, then I can see that being compelling.
Thanks for the vdo soooo I have s7 plus should i upgrade to s9 ultra or s10 ultra? Coz idk how fast they gonna give updates for mediatech chip 😮
Your video is the only one I could find that wasn't produced by AI.
Hi, can you try it out,
is the cover keyboard from the S9 Ultra compatible with the S10 Ultra? I'm interested in the magnetic back part because I thought the hinges were great. I have the S7+ with the two-part keyboard and I mostly only use the back part and there's an S9 Ultra keyboard for 160€ but the question is whether it fits.
0:15 Saki loves the Trixie Mattel background music 💞
where do you get wallpaper? i cant find anything good for my S9 ultra
Where you bought the gold supports for tablets at beginning?
They both so big it looks like a screen of a computer
I'm happy with my Samsung Galaxy S9 Tablet the 11 inch one! Does the job perfectly :)
I find the keyboard that is sold for theS9 to bea The full-on keyboard problem. Is the S10's keyboard better?
Is there a difference in years of software updates. I think that the s9 gets 4 years and the s10 gets 7? I keep my tablets for many years. Thanks Saki.
10:24 it's not an optical fingerprint sensor, it's ultrasonic. Optical takes a second, ultrasonic is basically immediate
Howdy! Can you help clarify what the fastest SD card the 10 ultra supports? I don't want to waste my money on an SD card speed it doesn't support but I can't find that data on their site!
What about speakers? I went from S9+ to S10 ultra and it's a massive downgrade on audio quality.
Hi, what about the oleophobic coating? Does it even exist on the s10 ultra? How good is it?
If I could get S10 ultra at the same price as S9 Ultra and currently I don't have any android tablet, would you recommend it?
Use case scenario is usually the same with any tablet.
Got a S9 Ultra back in December. I don't see any good reason to upgrade
best review ever
I have upgraded the last few years and plan to again. I have the S9 ultra and plan to get the S10. I agree that they are mostly the same, so then why do I always upgrade? Everyone's case is different, but in my case, I am retired and somewhat bedfast, so I spend an enormous amount of time on my tablet. For me, it's the knowledge that I'm getting a brand new one for 400 which is worth it for me because my S9 has a lot of miles on it, seeing that I use it every day for a lots of hours.
S7+ to s10 ultra 😊 4 years, time for an upgrade
I’ve been using my Tab 8+ 16GB ram with my Galaxy Book 3 Ultra 32gb ram Windows Pro as a second screen but mostly as a mirroring screen to edit photos using windows editing photo programs (Topaz Photo AI and Video AI for example)with the use of the Tabs S-pen. But I’m now thinking of getting this 10 Ultra 16gb ram 1Tb for a better experience. I wouldn’t be surprised though if next year they come out with a vastly superior Tab to the 10 and the similar 9:) History seems to say.
8:04 is that a regional update? I have the exact tablet in UK but non of that Galaxy AI.
i still have a tab S4 that works as well as it did 6 years ago and i use it every single day. i assume if the S4 is that good then these new S9 and S10 should be even more robust.
Yeah, I'm still using my Tab S3 from 2016 and it still works great. Looking to upgrade thought. The screen sizes of the S9 Ultra and S10 Ultra are very tempting.
My tab s8 plus is still alive and kicking
I have the S9 ultra but upgraded to the S10 ultra only because of Black Friday deals and because of trade and value. It cost me a $120 to upgrade from the Tab S10 ultra to the Tab S10 ultra
Not gunna lie, im just waiting for a 4k screen so i can watch movies in bed lol
Its almost exactly 4K
I am currently using s7fe , should I get a S9u or s10u ?
i made the jump from the 7+ to to the 10U and it was a big leap for me :-)
Should i upgrate my tab s6 lite to the tab s10+?
It’s your money
Sad that is not becoming the SD 8 gen 4
Next year when gen 5 is launching in 2 weeks again. ;)
Redmagic is coming out with their own tab with snap dragon gen 3 next month.... bit more powerful than this one.... only downside to it..... it has a weaker screen
4 isn't even out yet.. The 3 was possible but didn't happen.. I think the SD X was also possible but too expensive... I really wanted the X though I would have paid money too..
@@carlosk8103Well it seems the 8 Gen 4 is actually going to be called the 8 Elite. Maybe that'll be there to go as an iPad pro competitor, especially if they get an overclocked version like Samsung's been getting for a bit
I think your source is confusing S10 Ultra tablet with the S10 series of phones that used a Snapdragon. I'm only seeing this snapdragon talk on youtube and reddit links.
I have to buy a tablet but the only problem is that I don't know whether to take the s9 ultra or the s10 ultra? Does the s10 have bugs? I don't know what to do
So in my case that I've been thinking of buying the S9 Ultra but haven't done it yet: Should I go with the S9 ULTRA or just buy the newest version S10 ULTRA ?
Would you upgrade from the Samsung ultra 8 to the 10?Is it worth it
Every one said not to upgrade from s8 ultra to s9 either. Where do we stand on this?
An AI feature that changes my wallpaper according to the weather?? Thats it !! I am upgrading my tab s9 ultra right away !
Really ? How so?
Ha ha!
I paid $700 for my S9 Ultra and Samsung is offering an $800 trade-in on it. I wouldn't consider the upgrade but I use mine outdoors A LOT, often on sunny days. I do scorekeeping for my son's baseball team and daughter's softball team and the GameChanger app is so much easier to use on a big tablet. Even with screen brightness maxed, the glossy display has been problematic. I just ordered my S10 Ultra this morning after watching a few videos about it.
Thanks for the comparison!
In others words (lesser words) no need to upgrade until next year if you already have a tab s9😂😂😂😂😂😂
yep...
Honestly, I don't think there is going to be anything better after this year than what companies are currently doing now. Other than... maybe change their design. Companies are going to have to start actually innovating. Tri-fold phone was on the cusp. Weak software, weak frame, weak screen, weak battery. Just a phone with 3 screens.
until s13 its pointless s9 is expensive
I was about to say... My S9 ultra will last me a few more years it seems 🤭
I upgraded my s9 ultra
Long story short - i upgraded from the Tab S9 Ultra to the S10 Ultra, here are the reasons why: Trade in with samsung for $800 on the S9 Ultra, education discount, free Samsung keyboard (with the education offer, you get it completely free) all in additional investment was $350 with tax. for that i get a $200 keyboard and a better performance tablet. really was a no brainer for me tbh.
Nobody will ever pay 200$ for that keyboard. It will drop to 100$ quickly.
No connectivity with 5G? or LTE?
