Made these today! They were great. Used aluminum foil lightly coated in vegetable oil instead of parchment paper: it worked fine. Thanks for the recipe!
I use coconut sugar (it's more caramel-ly) :D and toast about a 1/3 of the coconut for a more toasty flavor on the inside :D Fun recipe to make into cupcake molds, too.
I just have mine in the fridge now, I hope will come out well, I didn't had enough chocolate at home so I made 2/3 quantity of all ingredients... will see if I succed with this recepy :-)
Thank you for making this video as it has given me many ideas. I am eleven years old and me and my best friend love to cook! We bake and cook! Such as chicken fajitas, tacos, cake, brownies, breakfast, deserts, lunches, etc. We love what we're doing and hope to keep going. I have always wanted to be a chef! Thanks for the tutorial!
You may want to let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet so they firm up a little. Then you can use a spatula to transfer the still warm cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Joy of Baking a little late in the conversation but would it be prudent (or maybe dangerous 😈) to just gently slide the whole parchment of cooling mounds off the tray, freeing it up for reuse? ... using a new parchment, of course :-)
hi. can I use an electric mixer for this and we dont get shredded coconut like yours. We get flaked coconut. would I need to add more or less of that. and would it give the same texture? love ur channel :)

Making these right now..! I love all your recipes!
Hi, I made some today. They were good.
I made pastry cream (using one of your recipes) with the remaining egg yolks.
I've never made these cookies without the melted chocolate, so I'm not sure how they would be without it.

+Alina Havas If you used 2/3 of all the ingredients, the recipe will still work.
Thank you, I made them! Super

Stephanie,I am going to make the chocolate coconut macaroons soon, how can I go about storing these macaroons on the counter and in the refrigerator?
I like to store them in the fridge,
Is it necessary for them to cool completely on the sheet? I only have one sheet and will have enough batter for a few sheets. :)

Just made some! Love sweets and tastes awesome. Really easy to do, especially for a first time baker like me.
Exelent job in providing clear concise instructions along with conversions.
Thank you
Can I skip the melted chocolate part? will the cocao powder do?
Great, thanks a lot.
You're a cutie.
