The days are getting shorter putting the pressure on getting through the days work in time. Are you feeling the pressure?

Hope your wife is feeling better soon, a car can easily be replaced! Some tricky time consuming jobs there! Well done for getting almost all done. On days where Sophie can't work would an extra tank slide in where her trolley and barrels normally sit? That way, van payload allowing, you might be able to get an extra 400lts on board - use a 12v bilge pump to transfer to main tank and secure the second tank to the first? Like the gloves tip, unfortunately my van never gets warm as I don't do enough miles! Stay safe and warm.

Cheers Ched she has sore bruising but could have been worse and like you say a car is just metal. I have thought about small tank even with a pump, controller and my old reel that can connect to the old van port. Instead of using the trolly. But Sophie prefers the trolly. I am thinking when she is not there just use the tank I have and pop home lunch times to refill. Only a problem on short daylight which isn’t for too long really. Things to think about, or even a second van to split up the day. As long as some extra work covers the cost of a second van. That way we could all aim to be done by 3pm. May not earn millions but will have a quality of life which is more than having lots of money. Stay safe mate.

@@CrystalCleanWindows I was mainly thinking of a small tank just for when Sophies' not with you. That way you wouldn't need to pop home to fill up. When Sophie is back take tank out. Second van could be good but check out the insurance as it might be silly money!

Wow sounds like your doing really well solo mate you sound very busy. Winter is a pain but I find it’s a good time to rearrange the schedule to make it more efficient. In terms of managing it (putter than the weather) to all get cleaned within a good time frame. Hopefully gone are the days of working late. At least the talkers stay in the warm in winter ❄️ 👍

The one who said leave it until March would be a instant dump for me.

They have not done that before and I have cleaned them for a few years now. It is a help in a way as the day is easier to get done with the lack of light. But then again it will not be short days for long. Fortunately it is not many that do that.

To be honest, mate, it seems like you're texting them the night before, and I wouldn’t accept them skipping cleans like that. From the looks of it, you're already busy enough, and I wouldn't want to waste my time just to have more work piled on next time because they're skipping cleans. Plus, if they skip, their next clean would be treated as a weekly clean and priced accordingly, with an extra 50%. In my opinion, it’s best to just bin it."

We do get a bit cheesed off with some as there is a pattern forming, customers do not realise what it takes to get consistent days work out together. I do not mind if they text back that night and often there is a reason. Time to make a list like you say 👍
