The smile on your face when you drove it out for the reveal, you couldn't knock it off your face with a sledge hammer!!! You take real pride in your work and it shows. Awesome job, awesome videos and an awesome channel. Keep the projects coming!
Your channel has inspired me to branch out from my normal old car and truck searching and I've ended up buying a John Deere 4020 with a 4520 engine stuffed into it and a 966 international that had an m&w turbo kit installed years ago. Both tractors sat since about 2010 or so, so it's taken some doing but I got them running and hauled 60 miles home and I'm just working the kinks out now! My wife now holds my ten month old a safe distance away to protect her hearing but when I throttle those tractors up and let the turbos sing that little girl just smiles and giggles to no end!!
Some people accuse us Deere guys of sticking our noses up at all enthusiasts of other brands. But, not true. I watch every one of your videos. I love your enthusiasm for the Masseys the the attention to detail you give them. Great video. The tractor is looking fantastic!
I'm a Farmall / IH guy but what you did with that MH tractor that was left for junk...A-MAZ-ING. That tractor would look good at a tractor show as well in the field. Loved watching the transformation on this one. Can't wait to see it working in the field.
Hello from the sunrise side of the thumb! I’ve been following your channel for about a year now, and while I enjoy all your projects, I think this one is my favorite. The ol’ girl came out cherry. To go from the sad, depressed state it was in to all dressed up is great to see. I actually kind of like the patina on the trim pieces as they are. It retains some of the history of the machine and gives it just that much more character. I can’t wait to see her ripping the ground up with a disc like she was born to do.
JT I couldn’t believe my eyes last week when I found a Massey 1150 with duals and cab on an auction site down here in Tennessee. They say it has some shifting issues but I couldn’t believe it. Your old girl turned out great! I am going to watch and see what the auction price is going to be. I will send you pics if I can find a way. Thanks JT 👍
Did you notice the 1150 plate on the left side has a hinge to give access to the air filter. Your tractor looks almost as good as mine 😂👍🇨🇦. Fantastic job.
That truly looks ‘the mutts nuts’ JT, another great MF tractor resurrected and refurbished ready for work and play. If you would like to see, and hear the 1150 at work, I’d be more than happy to fly over the pond and run it for you buddy. This channel just gets better and better.
Wow! She looks amazing! Fantastic job JT! There is something about those tractors, they have a style, a presence, which was totally unique. It will never be repeated. Those days are alt long gone. Congratulations on rescuing your dream tractor. You deserve it!
Jt you need to get a rops and a canapy and a air cleaner stack. And let the muffler on and you are ready to go on a tractor ride, she looks so freaking good. You know that all of the things that you are looking for are still at the farm that she came from
Tractor looks great i painted my 175 emblems when I painted my tractor with black and white testers model paint they looked about like yours they turned out great that was a great tractor, yours is super nice good luck on your bean crop.
All I gotta say is WOW!! JT you always seem to outdo yourself. It’s awesome watching you take so much pride it your tasks. That’s one sweet 1150. Great job!🤜🤛
Looks nice JT. I always thought the newer Massey looks nice like yours. Never ran one. Case, Deere, IH, and once a MM. Didn't care fore the mighty mo. My cousin and I would argue over that. Even through he went Greern.God rest his soul.
A great video of a great classic tractor which in my opinion is the G O A T for looks and sound, you are one lucky S O B, I’d give my wife’s right arm for one.
In 1976 when I was nine years old, the Massey-Ferguson 1135 & 1155 were the largest offering from Massey-Ferguson in Sweden. A lot have happened since… Nice job, and it brings a lot of memories!
Well young man, you did a great job on a tractor facing certain doom in a scrapyard so very well done in saving some agricultural history and another Massey Ferguson icon. Here in the UK, I went to a tractor show a while back and there was Massey 135 that was over-restored. BY that I mean so beautifully restored it was "Concours d'Elegance" class of workmanship. I could perfect reflections in the paint, percision formed clutch hydraulic and fuel lines. It was a thing of beauty and not a thing of purpose from a factory making agricultural machines. Even the wheel nuts were zinc plated and beautiful. What you have achieved is a working and practical restoration that you can enjoy using. Top marks!
Well JT, I'm really happy for you. That's one nice looking tractor! I'm nearing completion on my 65 F350. Going out in a few minutes to resume painting the dump box. I need to get the weather sensitive stuff done because I don't have heat. Or let's just be honest and say I can't justify the cost. I've got one 14' X 24' bay with heat but it costs about $5.00 a day. Thanks for sharing your work and knowledge! Now, get to those beans!😅
I have to add to what everybody else has already said. You did a masterful job on the restoration but also on the video series. I've tried to find where you said what you originally paid for the 1150 as a junker. Can you give us an update on how much you paid for it and how much your restoration was total? Just curious. It is truly a work of art. So glad you were able to restore it to it's original beauty. Keep em coming.
Let’s just say I gave double scrap price, I had the tires so they were no extra, about 300 in the grill and 1k in the nose. The paint is stuff I had in stock, minus the grey metallic on the chassis, and that was 50 bucks I believe. Filters, fluids, maybe 4-5 hundred, odds and ends here and there.
I have always thought that Massey Furgusons were gorgeous tractors, just didn't see many here in NE Arkansas. My grandfather only ran Massey Combines. I learned how to operate a tractor on a 49 Massey Harris and still own it. My great grandfather bought it brand new in 49.
JT, you should be proud of the turn around you’ve done to the 1150. To think it was sitting in a scrap yard a few weeks ago to what it is now. Great asset for you. You should try and see if you can pick up some front weights to add to this beauty. Well done. 👍
Getting into intricate/precise cleaning such as the badges, invest in a dremel kit. Fairly cheap and allows for precise work, plus you will find many more uses for it. Great job on bringing that Massey icon back to shine. I'd take her to the prom......👍👍
JT an overhead crane or even just a large engine hoist would be great for your new shed! Idk if you already have one but for the likes of carrying out those cast mudguards it would be ideal. 1150 looks class not many of them here anymore in Ireland
Our church has a massive 255 that we've been using to mow lawns with a 12-ft woods mower and that thing is absolutely awesome motor has been rebuilt that's been totally restored in I absolutely love Massey's
OMG!!! You should be so proud of yourself. Looks awesome. For guys like me who grew up on a farm but now are stuck in suburbia with a family, getting to work on this tractor would be heaven.
Great job that is a keeper maybe go on the hunt for a new old planter would make a nice planting tractor plus more love it can't say it enough great job 👍👍 👍
The tractor looks so good, like new. Like the best looking 1150 in existence. What a Massey. With 540cu she will do most anything asked. Hopefully it will last ya'll till as old as I. She will chop corn as good as any new 800,000 dollar JD. May she still run perfect 50 years from now.
To paint your emblems you could maybe sand blast em, then carefully level them and pour a little thinned black paint into them and let it settle and do the same with the white.
JT you’ve done it again. I really like the 1150. When you showed the before picture it’s hard to believe it’s the same tractor. Bravo, kudos, and ya hoo!!
She's looking good!! Well I almost expected soybean harvest video today I live near the Indiana/Michigan line & they've been harvesting beans all week long
@jtsbarnngrill6873 I grew up with MF tractors of the age you are working on. Wish I had your talent and could restore them like you do. Please keep it up and I am hoping you find yourself a 1085 as well.
long time listener, first time caller. That thing sure is sharp! And that goes for everything else you’ve restored or painted. After watching you paint tractors for a couple years now i think i’m gonna go ahead and restore my 460 diesel when k get back from basic. Have a cold one for me JT!
I'd like to see the Ferguson system decals below the grab handles. Set of front suitcase weights will also enhance it's look even more. Looking very good.
Great job JT. You pitched it just right, looks like a smart well looked after working machine not a show queen. I think that motor would now benefit from some good hard drawbar work, clean it out just fine😂.
You've done another great job and have absolutely rescued a classic. She's totally as designed. And every bit brand new. It's uplifting to all of us who brushed elbows with M-F in our youth. I missed how you fixed the damaged fuel tank when she was picked up in the yard. And, why was an electric fuel pump added along the way? Was the original mechanical? Thanks. Next time, I'll pay better attention. Beautiful!
I didn’t record the tank, but all I did was thread a nipple in the drain hole and run the line. That’s what someone has done previously, and it just got ripped off
The smile on your face when you drove it out for the reveal, you couldn't knock it off your face with a sledge hammer!!! You take real pride in your work and it shows. Awesome job, awesome videos and an awesome channel. Keep the projects coming!
Thank you!!!
It’s great to see when things are restored and not junked. Thank you for saving history.
You bet
That's what I call a tractor, would you consider putting a roll bar on the back!!?
Not only unrecognizable, extremely sharp. Great job!!!!
Thank you!

Awesome work JT! Nothing like the old iron. Hopefully she gives you years of great service in appreciation to you for saving her from scrap.
Thanks!
Who says you can’t make a Silk purse out of a Sows ear. JT does it all the time, well done another masterpiece.🇺🇸🇬🇧🍻👍
Thanks!
Wow! How amazingly beautiful she turned out. That's a job to be proud of. Thank you for your nice videos.
Thank you very much!
Hi I’m loving your channel I’m a big Massey fan I used to drive a 168 and a 188 keep up the great work you do
Awesome! Thank you!

Right on! I agree
JT I love the sound of those Cat Motors of yours. Put one in the fork lift when you repaint it.
That would be cool!
But this one has a Perkins lol
JT I noticed your Daisy Duke poster on the wall. Saw her last weekend at HolleyMoparty in BowlingGreen , Ky. She said to tell you hey. 😊
Right on! I’d love to meet her!
I'm jealous JT, that 1150 with that wonderful v8 was one that nobody was able to duplicate. Great job
Thanks!
looks good. just needs a back 40 tuneup :)
Great job! That Massey is looking sharp, love the duals!
Maybe you could get all of those Masseys out and do a lineup video, that would be cool!
Thanks JT 👍
Right on! Keep me posted on that one!
What you need now is a nice big parade . Man and tractor need to strut just a bit . Job well done congratulations
Thanks 👍
Did you notice the 1150 plate on the left side has a hinge to give access to the air filter. Your tractor looks almost as good as mine 😂👍🇨🇦. Fantastic job.

Thanks 👍
You did an awesome job as always. Almost makes me want to paint my 1155.
You should!
To paint your emblems you could maybe sand blast em, then carefully level them and pour a little thinned black paint into them and let it settle and do the same with the white.

@jtsbarnngrill6873 I grew up with MF tractors of the age you are working on. Wish I had your talent and could restore them like you do. Please keep it up and I am hoping you find yourself a 1085 as well.
Fine job looks very well. Good luck with harvest
Thank you!
long time listener, first time caller. That thing sure is sharp! And that goes for everything else you’ve restored or painted. After watching you paint tractors for a couple years now i think i’m gonna go ahead and restore my 460 diesel when k get back from basic. Have a cold one for me JT!

Just AWESOME what a transformation, great job!!!-

I'd like to see the Ferguson system decals below the grab handles.
Set of front suitcase weights will also enhance it's look even more.
Looking very good.

Great job JT. You pitched it just right, looks like a smart well looked after working machine not a show queen. I think that motor would now benefit from some good hard drawbar work, clean it out just fine😂.
Bingo! She’s gonna get some disk time this fall
Looks great. Thanks for the videos.
Right on! Appreciate it!
Beautiful!

JT its beautiful you've done a great job and duals on the back sets it off, all that's missing is a factory cab.Luv ya work. Australia.
