I like that you didn't worry about getting some of the dents all smoothed and pretty...after all it's a survivor, not a museum piece to only be looked!
If I were to ever have to clean an old tractor again I would buy a gallon of Super Clean and spray it on with a weed sprayer then pressure wash. Super Clean is amazing!
Hey JT, when can I come over for some paint instructions. I've got a spray set up up because I don't know what the hell I'm doing I typically revert to rattle can paint jobs. In my defence I can do a respectable rattle can paint job, but it sure would be nice to gain some confidence with my other gear. I think your uncle would wonder how something could get so shiny!😊
Great work!! Midway through I thought…that would be really cool in black but you did the absolute right thing. So nice to see the old iron brought back to its glory days!! Keep up the good work! Love the videos!!
Wow friend absolutely beautiful job first class your little tractor looking so smart I like 😊please keep the great videos coming friend from Scotland 🎉😊🎉
That looks Perfect JT. And the commentor was right. It lived on that farm all it's days, it needed to be Farmall Red.................. Long live Farmall.........
Great work JT! Looks amazing and it’s nice to see your not worrying about everything being perfect, this way it will still get used and not sit in a shed to be admired only. Keep up the great work.
It's amazing how a lot of work and you can change a poor old machine into a parade track. JT, the only thing I'd do differently was I'd use original Farmall Red Enamel. I just don't care for clearcoat , it's going to peal no matter what you do. But yes, enamel will fade also. You definitely done your family proud with fixing this tractor.
Looks Very Nice! 😎 A Guy I Went To School With In The 90’s Painted A Farmall H Purple With Turquoise Wheels, It’s Still Going These Days At The Farm Class Tractor Pulls We Attend.
When young, I drove a MF 135 for some time. Had a nice time with it. Now and again I look at advertised 135's. But, living in the city in a row house, owning one probably will be frowned upon by the neighbours. Not to mention my wife 😢
Seeing you year round - it's a well kept farm. I'm full of admiration of how well you keep the small pools of water looking so consistent throughout the year. There's just so many questions. One is how often do you have to refresh the water?
A very nice tribute to your family and the farm.I ended up selling my 3rd generation family farm last year because of health reason's.The hardest part was seeing my Dads 1958 B 250 International tractor that he bought brand new go to it's new home.
Looks great JT and your uncle would be proud to see it back to it's original condition. I really like that red color even though I don't have a single International tractor on my farm. Closest thing would be my Massey Harris which is really close to that color. There were lots of red tractors so red must have sold well. Wish I had your painting/refinishing skills! Ever paint any Persian Orange?
You did well . I wanted black with white lettering . But It is family , it needs to be original colour All you need now , find a parade somewhere . Cheers !
I’m a lousy painter. My mailbox was rusty looking so I decided to paint it and re- number it so that the substitute mail person would know for sure what my correct address is. Being so far from town I decided to use the only spay can paint that I had which was Alpine Green (Detroit Diesel Green). Two days later my rural mail carrier pulled up in my yard and blew her horn. I went out there and she raised hell at me for my mailbox leaking oil all over her! Man, I cain’t win fer loosing.
Looks awesome, it’s not like Squatch painting the M but I like your approach. I think they deserve to be treated fairly but they don’t need to be perfect, I’m glad you didn’t tear it all down and make everything perfect!😀
I made it as perfect as it ever was lol. Squatch does an amazing job, and if I were looking for a showroom tractor I’d do the same, but for what I want it is perfect. And I think it still looks better than 80% of all the farmall tractors I’ve seen at shows lol 😂
@@jtsbarnngrill6873 I agree 100% I think the juice just isn’t worth the squeeze here? Treated fairly. I like that term. I wouldn’t want a show piece either, to me it’s just too much work. They are meant to work and be used. What you did was protect, prolong and beautify with moderation and the intent to really utilize and not just drive it off and on the trailer. I love the practicality here because that’s where I’d go I watch the crazy perfectionists too because it’s fun to see where I wouldn’t go. Keep it up JT! BTW I think the Catherine Bach poster RULES!
I like that you didn't worry about getting some of the dents all smoothed and pretty...after all it's a survivor, not a museum piece to only be looked!
Each dent has a story 😊
Great paint job on the Ole Girl…… Reminds me of my Grandfather’s .
Great looking paint job nice to bring older stuff back to life
Very nice job, you picked the right color and your uncle would have been proud.

Nice ! clean those tires cover them with dawn for shine after
Still think plum crazy purple would’ve looked good with black rims. Lol. But that looks good too.
You made the correct decision on the color. I am sure your family is proud. She looks great!
Great work!! Midway through I thought…that would be really cool in black but you did the absolute right thing. So nice to see the old iron brought back to its glory days!! Keep up the good work! Love the videos!!

That looks Perfect JT. And the commentor was right. It lived on that farm all it's days, it needed to be Farmall Red.................. Long live Farmall.........
Right on!
Great work JT! Looks amazing and it’s nice to see your not worrying about everything being perfect, this way it will still get used and not sit in a shed to be admired only. Keep up the great work.

That's awesome. WOW !
Thank you!
Great job and great color choice!!
Seeing you year round - it's a well kept farm. I'm full of admiration of how well you keep the small pools of water looking so consistent throughout the year. There's just so many questions. One is how often do you have to refresh the water?
It does that naturally every 2-3 days
Outstanding job!
Looks great!!!!
Looks great , no problem driving it around the block a few times 👍🏻
Right! I may make a habit of it lol

I can understand how tough that must have been. I hope it went to a good person who will take care of it for you😉
Yes it went to a good home,he is now building a garage to put in as it was never left outside at home.
She looks good! Can't lie,,,how about hemi orange?
Good paint job. Love the color. Agree with your logic. Paint a cheap one black. Still would look cool.
Thanks! I’m sure I’ll run across one somewhere that I can get cheap!
That's so shiney you'd think the paint is still wet !
Very nice

Thanks! I have not dabbled with Persian orange just yet…. But I’m sure someone has an old 7010 sitting in a fence row that needs some JT treatment 😉
very very nice
Looks great for another 50 years, black is better on a car or truck.
Right!
You did well . I wanted black with white lettering . But It is family , it needs to be original colour All you need now , find a parade somewhere . Cheers !
Right on! She’s ready to show off!
Shiney 😮
Im glad you kept her original.... you need a muffler
I’ll put one on at some point in the near future
Good choice on the farmall red. To paint it any other color would have been an insult to your uncles.
She looks finer than frog hair.

😆😆. Well, if there ain’t oil under it there ain’t oil in it😉😆
so where did the oil come from ..? or am i being dumb , Detroits , oil leaks ...
😁
Ha ha! Road oiler screamin Detroit!
