Great video, Patrick! Very interesting for sure… keep up the good work and the humble attitude, too many reviewers seem ungrateful or they act like they are “owed”something. Awesome work!
Nice view of the landing at Paro ! Takes me back to 2013 when I toured Bhutan (with Explore Tour Company). The airport was indeed beautiful , made me feel like I went through customs to enter the fabled Shangrila in the mountains. Also flew Druk Air, but from Kathmandu. By the way, around 26:45, you stated “Tibetan country of Bhutan”. I think you meant “Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan”? Tibet is a separate state from Bhutan, forcibly annexed to China unfortunately. Great video nonetheless !
It’s a big project! Unfortunately I didn’t get all the content I needed so I have to get more content when I’m back in a couple months to finish it all up
Very impressive final approach landing, those ✈pilots must have used a flight simulator to practice and perfect this airport's demanding condition's. As alway's Patrick another 10/10 awesome video you've made👍
Yea I just saw that the Indian airport you hopped through was Bagdogra, not Guwahati - GAU is a much bigger airport, and you won't see those hills nearby either.
The only thing is that it then it becomes harder for them to preserve their culture. It is kind of a painful process to get the visa, but if it keeps the country in it’s preserved state, then I think it’s worth it
For your kind information Bhutan is not Tibetian country. Rather it is independent and GNH country in the Himalaya.
Beautiful approach and landing!!! ❤ The Airport and especially baggage claim...

I appreciate it! Thank you!
That is a very unique airline! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!

Thank you! Good to know!
fascinating destination/flight
Another great review. Thanks for sharing this unique airline.
Thank you!
The airport is unique in Asia with this magnificent architecture and decorative walls.
Totally! You’ll enjoy my next video where I plan to spend some more time looking at the airport itself before departing the beautiful country
Fantastic informative video. Looks like Bhutan is well worth the effort to visit
It’s a ton of fun! As long as you can get in a tour for the visa
Thank you for showing the scenery and environments, not yourself like so many other aviation you tubers seem to do these days!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
beautiful experience! especially the arrival areas of the airport- indeed the world's most beautiful baggage claim areas
Totally! Imagine if all airport terminals had that amount of detail!
P. S. Its the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan, not tibetan kingdom.
Nice saining paro bazaar 👍👍
Superb Report, thanks for taking us along with you on this epic and exciting flight👌🏻
Thanks! I’m glad you liked it
Another great vid man!
Thanks man!
Can't wait for your full Changi video.

Thanks a bunch! It is impressive watching the pilots navigate this approach, knowing how much training went in to it
Great vid! Was your heart pounding on approach and landing?
It was a ton of fun. It’s what the pilots train for and what we all live for
Great trip.
Wanted to know about the allowance of baggage pieces in business class
Excellent work . My new must watch AV GEEK
Thank you!!
Fantastic video Patrick! Was wondering if you need some form of visa to get in and how did you manage?
You gotta get one through a tour agency unless you come from a select group of countries (all of which are adjacent to Bhutan I believe)
26:44 what are you saying Tibetan country and Bhutan 🇧🇹 is completely different! It’s disappointing that you visited Bhutan unknowingly.
cool
The distance from the two gates to the plane seems odd.
I agree… maybe there were other aircraft there that had departed?
15:57 I thought you were flying to Bhutan via Guwahati (GAU). That flight map says you're flying to Bagdogra (IXB)
Yea I just saw that the Indian airport you hopped through was Bagdogra, not Guwahati - GAU is a much bigger airport, and you won't see those hills nearby either.
Interesting… the ticket and reservation said Guwahati
@@PatrickSheaAviation yes that's really confusing!!!
But ignore the comment about the hills. There are some hills near the GAU airport too.
Paro Flight From Singapore Via Guwahati
Funny Thing I Was On that Flight...
Dang no way! That’s awesome!
Yeah I was at the very back of the plane
I think bhutan needs to stop the visa thingy with a tour company and just let people apply or even better arrive and get stamped in without visa
The only thing is that it then it becomes harder for them to preserve their culture. It is kind of a painful process to get the visa, but if it keeps the country in it’s preserved state, then I think it’s worth it
