So you changed the fan module? And was aftermarket so it didn't work? My ats fan not coming on. I changed the 60a fuse. Checked power which fan comes on so not the motor. The car doesn't have a relay nor auxiliary so I'm going to install a new OEM module.
@@jesseelmecanico5791 just fix mines. Didn't have to unplug the battery. Just press down on the clip and slide the connectors off. Remove bolts. Edit: This depends on your car. My car had lots of room/gaps where i can easily reach the equipment. Some Engine bays may be too crowded.
So i have a 2015 Cadillac ats same problem. Fan wont turn on so causes my car to Over heat. would you just recommend new fan and module ?I've done a lot already and Cant seem to find the problem. Thank you
Yeah I would recommend a fan and module, but only after you have tested for power and ground first. I would also recommend to go with OE, because in this video we went aftermarket and it still wasn't working. If the fans turn on and its still overheating possibly you could have burnt the head gaskets.
@@jesseelmecanico5791 never saw your reply ordered both of them OEM still same problem. Probably gonna have to take it to the dealership might cost me a arm and leg but tired of the fan not turning on
@@Superlazylaz1000 My issue was the fan was not coming on when the AC was on but the fan came on when the coolant temp reached 183 F. A couple of weeks later my AC compressor went out. I replaced the compressor and the fan works correctly now. I am assuming the ac compressor was related to the AC fan not coming on .
@@ericrhymes852 yes I've replaced alot of things including the thermostat. Alot of it had to do with resetting the cars computer which is in the owners manual

Only way I was able to command it with the snap on scanner was with the car running

I replaced the aftermarket module, with a oem module. For some reason the aftermarket market one wasn't working.

I've replaced the cooling temperature sensor and still fans run high speed and shows no temperature on gauge

Thanks we are having the same problem with our fan running. On our Damm ATS. And it looking like the cooling sensor, till I read this.lol
