I'm 45 and just bought my first pair of skates. I've enjoyed your videos. One day I hope to be able to jam too. Great job with the details in the videos.
Because his plate is too small for the boot. But if he's comfortable with that then that's all that counts. However if he gets new skates that are put together correctly he will have a huge adjustment curve.
@@becks4music I’ve noticed a lot of their skates where they are from have smaller plates. I think it’s easier for their styles because the wheels are right under the ball of their toes which is ideally where pressure should be applied when skating. Much like dancing, it is done in a Demi or pointe position. So a shorter plate more than likely gives more support and stability when dance/jam skating
@@primrosedeluna You're right on with this explanation. Most people get a sport mount with their plates. My next plates will be more like Brian's to accomodate dance skating. Before I knew I wanted this, I had some roll lines mounted but wish they were shorter for dance. Live and learn. :)
I CAN LITERALLY WATCH YOU SKATE EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!
Aaarrgghh, you’re making it look so easy!! But I’m determined to get this down! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
