Very luxurious! Rustic meets contemporary in a pleasing way. I like the orange overtones and the contrasting pops of blue. The entry storage (a current issue in this age of fashionable hooks and baskets) is nicely balanced with the pretty option on one side of the entrance and a (hopefully) deeper, more spacious and functional closet/wardrobe on the other. The integrated rear-facing garage limits this home to certain lot configurations while excluding others. Perhaps a similar option with detached garage would offer greater flexibility. Great home - would definitely live here - once I win the lottery!
Love 💕 it! Only change I can see I would want is a wood burning stove instead of the fireplace and with this house plan, some of that heat will get into the bedrooms/bathrooms so I would use radiant floor heating in those areas only. Laundry room has space for a chest deep freeze, washer/dryer and pantry. Great Master Suite! Guest rooms are fine and have the Jack & Jill which will send most guests to the half bath. I lil the garage coat and boot room, and a smaller area for guests can easily be set up at the front door. Kids can play in the living room if furniture arrangements allow for it. Our family tends to be all together in the living area. Porches are always great in the right temperatures. I honestly think this home is wonderful!
The facade is dramatic! Arrangement of the porch furniture will advise guests as to which front door is the real" one. The gas fireplace should have a mantel to deflect heat from the TV. There is a generous laundry room and a pantry, and to supplement kitchen storage, even more cabinets and counter could be added to the anteroom leading to the half bath. The Jack-and-Jill bathroom works well for many families. This is a spacious, functional plan.
I get what everyone is saying... It looks like it should be more than 1500 SQ FT. But I drafted a similar design with less width and a second story w/ a bed bathroom and common area. Taking one of the downstairs bedrooms and using it for an office. Which has 1800 SQ FT. Perfect cause we're about to kick the last fledgling from the nest. Also depending on where you are. You can't do as much as you use to for 400K. But I know for certain I could build the current design ( negating an awful lot of unnecessary labor for far less than 400K. Everyone has hit on some key points, I'm guessing the AI just doesn't take certain things into consideration :o) No one can deny, it's stunning!
Why are we putting master bedrooms in the front of the house where the windows look out to the porch area? It always seems to me that there is a privacy issue because of this. I would want mine to be in the back away from the noise and looking out to the back yard and trees.
I thought about it too. Probably the architect decided that the owners of the house would have no one to be embarrassed in front of, that there would be no random people on the terrace.
This house was actually renovated from a warehouse by the owner, they had their own intentions, but curtains can be used to cover it if you need privacy.
@@avnstudio93So someone actually built this house? Do you have any rough idea of the cost to build this? I adore this plan, and I have looked at a LOT of plans!
A plant In the LAUNDRY ROOM?? Glad to see putting sinks again in laundry, but not EVERYONE, ME , LIKES LOWER WASHER/DRYER!! AS Senior citizen with back issues I have dryer on pedestal, and TOP LOADING WASHER. THERE NEEDS TO BE Communication of different options!! The small room outside the POWDER ROOM on other side of home WITH BENCH --- is a WASTE OF SPACE!!! ALSO- NEVER SEE- WHERE IS HVAC/ WATER HEATER???
It's pretty, but after these past years of everything going sky high, that tall of a ceiling.....waste of electricity your bill would be huge. 9 foot ceilings would be better for me. IT IS a stunning home though.

Very nice, would fit very well in Australian bush. As long as the outside wall are clading and brick or stone.

Beautiful home; only issue is the brick wall cutting off views to the backyard and other living areas…

@@Susieqskime as well!
@@Susieqskican just draw it out and ask any of the log cabin builders to make it for you
It will be cheaper too
Very nice. I just like more bedroom privacy away from the living room
❤️❤️❤️
Main living area designed like a pnc bank. Can that roof handle a giant snow load.
So this is not for real correct? I see no link to plans.

Unfortunately my 1500sqft homes sell for 400k. I couldn't build and sell this that cheap
