I don't think budget is the main reason, I mean look at garo series their armor are amazing it looks solid and authentic and that series also have many suits, garo is less popular compare to kamen rider and yet they manage to make great suit.

And, together with Ai ga Tomaranai from ZO, Kokoro Tsunagu Ai, the credits song in this movie, is one of the best songs from the whole Kamen Rider franchise.
Oh good to see the first Kamen Rider I ever watched finally up. It’s a great entry point for kaiju fans. Especially if you end up loving the normal action scenes before the kaiju battle at the end. Fog Mother is an underrated kaiju mech thing. Same with J being an underrated super hero.
Not if either the fall blanked his memory as Geki or the surgery during the revival blocked his Sentai power (Im playing along within this, i know its a joke)

I remember when this Shin and Zo aired on IFC (America) with terrible english dubs i still remember that they gave J Michelangelo's voice from the 80's tmnt, then gave him a completely different dub voice on the sega cd game, also Shin and Zo kept theyre kamen rider names but for some reason on IFC J was called "Grasshopper warrior Jay"

Very good movie. The practical effects are very nice. We even get some CGI. 90s era of Kamen Rider was the bridge between the old and the new. J is awesome and its a shame they never got the actor to reprise his role yet. He's the same actor who portrayed Tyrannoranger from Zyuranger.
