@@Swindondruid2 A complicated system of ropes and pulleys old chap, that's how the vehicles got there! Haha Cheers for your kind feedback, glad you enjoyed the battle :)
@@scholaprogenium7276 Thank you. Chindits arrived in light gliders with no vehicles apart from bull-dovers. Also the British didn't use Stuarts with the two light machineguns.
Great to see the Rising Sun on the table! I'm building a Vet Grenadiers list with as many knee mortars as possible for indirect fire shenanigans. Fanatics looks like it's been nerfed for 3rd edition so will be interesting to see how the horde lists will play
I've just finished building a Japanese army so will see how things change. I wrangled long and hard about Grenadier load outs - 3 mortars are costly even if you run them as regular. Plan was to take 2 but the cost of 120pts regular is way too much for a infantry squad.
@@c3aloha Its all glued down. 16mm xps foam. Brown and green acrylic paint as a base. Then PVA all over, flock and stones, dry for 48 hours, then get 2 squirt bottles, put 20% ethanol in one light mist over the board. In the other put 1/8 matt varnish 1/8 pva and the rest water, give the board a proper dousing. Leave to dry 48 hours
You played the fanatic rule a little wrong. Since he only had one left in the close quarter combat, he loses the fight and flees. You don’t go into another round of fighting I’m pretty sure. Unless it was FAQ’d.
@@scholaprogenium7276 yeah it’s an easy thing to forget if you’re not used to it. But the game is for fun. It would be brutal to forget in a tournament lol
Great game, Love the set up 👻
gg! Love the board. looking forward to your 3E coverage
@@pech2130 Cheers mate! Can't wait for 3rd edition, we get to go down to warlord HQ and try it out early and we are super super excited!!!
Good job mate! Thanks for the Battle Report!

Gonna Watch this one Soon...
Great battle report, with nice terrain and figures. I did wonder how a British force behind enemy lines had armoured vehicles with it :)

@@jamesspratley8163 Maybe it will be cheaper too though, 3 points plus an smg is quite pricey per vet fanatic atm!

Do you just scatter a bit of small pebbles and foliage across the mat every game or is that glued down? Always admire your reports. Bravo Zulu
