You seriously have no idea how great of a person you are! I had only gone skating twice before quarantine: on ice I couldn't move, on wheels I couldn't /stop/ moving (until, you know, the floor needed a hug) and now I've been skating every day just trying out your tutorials and I am so proud of myself. I use to skate as a kid but I was never any good. I started again as an adult with my kids. Now my kids are amazing at it and I suckkkkk. Its been 30 years since I've had skates on. Took my 14 year old and friends to her birthday skate party, I didn't skate but somehow had a strong desire to once again. Bought a pair of VNLA Brass Knuckle 3.0 (Over the top). Haven't been to the rink yet because now I have cold feet. Ain't that the truth. I have been incredibly fortunate as my family opened this rink in 1976 and I had already been skating at 2 other rinks prior. Growing up in this place was soooo much fun.
I’m only on day 5 of roller skating and could not get my turn to backwards down until I watched this video! Absolutely incredible teaching! Felt so good to nail it. Thank you! That weight shift is a game changer!
