Please keep in mind that when comparing pricing, the equipment being used, shop labor rate etc..(Never judge a book by its cover) if you are ever in the area, we can set you up to hear the true 3 way active setup as the owner enjoys demoing the vehicle.
Do not forget, we used the ap4-ch41 which programs the factory radio to output a true flat stereo signal that is actually clean and in comparison to an aftermarket stereo. Also, this years radio does not have an option to replace the screen with a standard aftermarket double din except third party Tesla style screens. Factory radio with the ap4-ch41 is best choice so far :)
New OEMs can send out a clean signal, and with a modern DSP, there really is no need anymore. also with as much stuff that's integrated into the OEM infotainment system, it just isn't practical anymore.
It was pretty difficult to make the custom pods for it. we used acrylic and vinyl wrap to get the look it has. With some hard work you could get it done. Good luck Kirk and if you post them tag us on instagram @sdaudiolux!
Always wanted to know how good the Helix/Brax Amps sounded. Speaking about Brax Amps, how are they in terms of SQ when compared to its lower brother: Helix? In your opinion, Is Brax family of amps is the best SQ??? Thanks again. And my comments are not showing up.
Helix c four sound is dry right, compared to the steg k401 amp, I heard that the steg k401 has a smooth, natural sound that is much richer in music? please reply me!
The helix c four is extremely accurate and in my opinion transparent, it’s absolutely worth experiencing one in conjunction with a properly tuned helix dsp. There are many factors that determine the characteristics of an amps sound but most start with signal manipulation. Steg is great Italian product but differences start to become minimal amongst high quality equipment in this range and up
@@audiolux6009 Oh, that's great, just what I thought. I wonder because there is a channel that praises the K series steg amp like a legend and advises not to waste $ on hylix four c. you lost my attention when you brought out rear door speakers, LAME,,but what can you expect for just another checkbook competitor.cant even install his own well anything.not even sound deadener but goes to shows
We can easily explain this one. There are some out there who truly believe in not having any rear speakers. They are focused on primarily a front stage stereo signal such as something you would hear at a performance on stage or even a high quality stereo home audio system. So some people believe that the rear takes away from a true audiophile front perspective stereo image. This is where we can prove most people wrong as those who are not believers in a rear fill, Do not have experience at all with proper time alignment and DSP tuning. The rear fill allows us on the DSP to adjust the imaging Ford and back and not just left and right. What we mean is when you hear the center image of a voice perfectly dead center in the middle of your dash since we did proper time alignment, you have no way to adjust them to come closer to you and feel as a more immersive experience. You can always reach out to us to ask for a more detailed explanation but there will always be comments that push towards a bias or personal experienced based ideals.
Why would you put 16k audio system in the most basic ram ? Half of the rams value is in the audio system
