I love still how Steve is the most amazing man . He is so good to Carrie & Charlotte. Miranda is making a huge mistake imho, What if Che fizzles out?Steve will still be there for her
Agree- Steve is the best! Miranda does nothing to deserve this loyalty.
I really hope the writers will come back to their senses and stop appeasing Cynthia Nixon as I'm sure she wanted them to mirror Miranda's life to hers. I hope the whole Che and Miranda thing will fizzle out and Steve and Miranda will reunite with each other. But it seems that the writers are doing everything they can to not make the fans happy.

Agree that since Nixon is a Producer on the show now, she wanted to put in her own real life story. She left her boyfriend she was living with for 14 years and had 3 children with for an unattractive same sex school education activist in NYC.

Because it spends too much time banging us over the head with LGBT issues. I mean yeah, visibility is great and inclusiveness is wonderful but I don't watch SATC to get a lecture on how many genders there are. When a show makes a gay man (me) bored to death of LGBT people it needs to switch things up a bit.
I think there are still some really great moments that would easily fit into a SATC episode. None of us expected to be given new episodes with the girls. I will take what I can get! Loving being back in the SATC world in 2022.😚

@@peekaboots01 Yeah got to agree, I clubbed away my 20s but now I'm 33 and the idea of going to a nightclub fills me with dread. Everyone is like 18-20 and REALLY loud, and I just don't have the energy to stay up dancing all night. A cosy pub with my friends and conversation? Yes please. A nightclub? No. And I'm only 33 and the 18 year olds already treat me like I'm an alien who wants to destroy their vibe, God knows what the reaction to two 55 year olds would be.
@@philbecker4676 LOL I know! When I was in my twenties, my friends and I would gasp at the late thirty-somethings. The forty somethings would literally stick out! They looked so out of place. I got over the club scene quickly. Even in my 20s I was over it. I'm with you on the cozy pub and conversation. I'd seriously be embarrassed to enter a dance club at my age now. No thanks.
@@peekaboots01 Absolutely, and it's one of the joys of getting a bit older for me, you just become more chill 😁 You lose this obsession of desperately TRYING to have a good time and just end up naturally having a good time, whether going to a pub or staying in with a film or going for a walk or just going to sleep early. You realise that there's more to life than getting wasted at clubs and taking photos obsessively so all your social media friends can see how wasted at a club you are. And yes I SUPPOSE it depends what kind of club they were queuing for as we never saw the inside, but most clubs I've been to people would stare in confusion at a pair of 55 year old women.

A couple of episodes back, Carrie was hobbling around in need of a hip replacement. Today she is painting wearing high heeled silver shoes. What slow minded human wrote this crap?

Some hip replacement surgeries have you up and moving within 72 hours. You never know and Carrie has the funds for that. 😂
Watch the show again...it took her two to three months to recover from surgery then the show sped up 3 months again.

Im trying to like this show but the nostalgia is too much for me. Samantha’s absence is really distracting. Im always expecting her to pop up somewhere. I never liked Big. They should have left him in Paris in 04 and let carrie get on with her life. It was stupid to have them marry in the first movie when carrie’s character in the original series worked better as a single woman on the edge of love and commitment. Big was the worst part of the original series. But for some reason satc’s writers kept him on and refused to allow carrie to heal and move on with her life. Im sure they all knew a revival series would happen st some point. I think they should have saved Commitment Carrie for a revival series where shes older and wiser and less willing to accept bullshit from her men. But now its like carries arc went from exploring relationships to dating because her husband died and she has nobody

Yes the important thing is that SATC is created and written by gay men who only have a vague idea of how women behave/act. That's why the characters sometimes act in such weird and bizarre and random ways. Samantha is the perfect example, she's a gay man's idea of what a successful, liberated woman is, and that's a drag queen. As entertaining as she is, I've never EVER met a woman who is like Samantha (despite meeting a lot of women who say "Oh god I am SO the Samantha of my friend group" although they never are) but everytime I see a Queen on RuPaul's Drag Race from New York I'm like "yeah, that's Samantha".
