The truth is, if any one of these characters had their own show without the others, Samantha would be the only entertaining character to watch.
plus the only one interesting enough to watch...alone...or even with other female characters...if anyone is listening...maybe even younger women than Samantha... that she can help with...everything...and I do mean everything...Samantha gave life lessons as well as sex lessons too...
Considering that it was Carrie’s show, everyone certainly watched it.

@@antithoughtpolice7497 I didn't know that, well, I didn't watch the series as a whole but that adds something different to everything. And, yes, actually, Charlotte should admire Sam for her uniqueness and treat her better. I mean, she is the most badass.

Samantha never gave into societal norms. Saying things that sometimes i even blushed over. However, so endearingly vulnerable, loyal, understanding and forgiving.
She definitely played by her own rules, and she was so down to Earth. She was a loyal friend, even though the others tended to be judgemental of her sometimes. I think they were jealous of her confidence. Also, she gave a lot of solid advice from her experiences.

This show was such a defining moment in time. All the ladies brought their own magic. Like Carrie’s hopefulness couldn’t be there without Miranda’s common sense to keep it in reality. Or, Samantha’s sexiness without Charlotte’s romantic nature for contrast. It was a well calibrated sauce.

Blanche Devore was fabulous on the Golden Girls. Mona was fantastic in Who’s the Boss and Samantha Jones was awesome in Sex in the City. We need more of these kind of women on television and in the movies to show the younger generations that life does not stop at age 50. Not by a long shot , in fact we get the Green Light to Living it Up.

The others were funny when they played off of her or each other, she was able to be funny on her own without having to play off anyone else ! That’s why SJP got salty Kim was just better at the delivery and the spotlight automatically spun to her !

She was so incredibly insecure despite trying to show off as super self-confident. All these dramatic unnecessary scenes. Dumping Smith because he had stuff going on in his life besides her.
