The first people started to be nostalgic for 2016 in 2019, the same happened to me some days back in 2019 but later I thought about it very carefully and remembered what happened and in conclusion 2016 was not as beautiful as I thought. Now people are starting to be nostalgic for Summer-Fall 2022 lol and many stuff is still like 80-90% the same as back then. In my country we will have elections (it's every 6 years there) and many very adult people whine that they were better before (in 2018 to be exactly) that's always in every election year that elapses, can't wait till 2030 when they say "We were better back in 2024". It's an endless cycle.

I am not one to fall into the slip up for stating they miss 2016, because I remember the flaws of that year, and terrorist attacks were pretty common in that year, I remember in high school, we had history class with the same teacher, and the most he reported terrorist attacks with CNN was late 2015 and 2016, and in youtube there used to be hood pranks that were scripted, and painted a bad light on black people, that satire got taken away in 2017, and did us a favor, but many want those experiments back, and beefs, so 2016 is a year for me where everyone decides to ignore the flaws of that year
