@@kameronwak the problem is that most of the time they chose anime that wouldn’t work the best for adaptation like dragon ball and don’t bring in the og creator for the project like dragon ball. The og Mario movie is bad not because they chose a game, but because darker movies were the most popular thing at the time.
The Avatar last Airbender movie (2010) was so frustrating to watch because they couldn't even pronounce the character's names correctly , the fight scenes were ok but they tried packing season 1 all into one movie pretty much
Race Against Time is better than both Dragon Ball Evolution & Last Air Bender. The acting and CGI might not be great but the story is really good. And when you compare it to the other live action movies you mentioned and the live action Kim Possible movie from 2019, RAT is the most faithful to the source material.
I don't hate live action movies, but if there are movies which people put their blood and sweat over and show way less care in making them, then that's a big L for the movie endustry

Detective Pikachu is a great live action movie. So is Roger Rabbit. Roger Rabbit is the best hybrid live action movie of all time 100%. Screw the Sonic movies. Roger Rabbit and Detective Pikachu are way better.
