She always flexibel running and doing crazy hand movement until that 2014 performance happened and 2016 new year eve even worse. She lost her confidence :( but 2018 such a good year for her.

She dislocated her shoulder from a fall and has been afraid to run around since. A lot of coaches notice her just standing around. That seems to be why.

I think you should really look into her live performances within the past 6 years, Mariah has great live moments that are new, her voice is less consistent but she tours yearly usually twice a year for her Xmas tour there are amazing almost perfect performances out there and you do not show your mastery of the craft by being ignorant to them and not understanding the voices ability to falter and recover. Seeing her in good voice at her current or recent age/s will give you a better understanding of her still powerful and able voice. And she used to be mich more physical on stage with her signature being going down to her knees while singing and then standing back up while singing.
She was also moving in her diva era example fly like a bird in grammys. Maybe it depends cause in gospel songs like this, make it happen and fly like a bird she is actually running
