  • Charger 6.4L 392 Scatpack with Hellcat SRT Supercharger installed. This scatpack 392 is running about 6lbs of boost with the hellcat supercharge installed at this point with the stock bottom end. A few months prior I showed off a Hellcat Supercharger on 5.7L 345 V8 Hemi. The owner of this scatpack installed everything themselves & is getting the Hellcat Supercharger properly looked at along with tuned. If you enjoy Hellcat, Scatpack, 392, SRT, Charger or Challenger content make sure to subscribe.

Wonder if they have that familiar whining when fitted onto any of the SRT powered Hemis, because the only one that I've seen so far was a 5.7 and did not do it. It was TA life Fallen Angel and was happy with the results other than that, but sounded like he was really disappointed that it does not whine

No it wouldn’t you can tune all day long but the motor is built to be na at a higher compression. It’s so bad that he had to change the pulley to make the blower run half the boost of a stock hellcat does let alone modded so it’s not an issue for any hellcat to walk on it as it is until he forges the internals and changes his compression then yeah sure but then it’s modded and tuned and really isn’t a hellcat or a scat anymore and isn’t stock so In that respect it deserves to win after that.

I’m doing this same thing on my Durango it’s been so many unforeseen issues .I had to change the whole front drive pulleys so they line up with the Hellcat blower pully . I also had to go inside the engine and change the cam and lifters because of the multi fuel displacement system fails with this setup . It was also necessary for me to get a drop in piston kit just so my 6.4 can even handle the boost. Long story short, I should’ve got a whipple it would’ve definitely been less stressful

Basic rule is 20-25 hp per pound of boost....once you do better heads/cam, then the numbers go up from there per pound. Boost is a measure of restriction. True efficiency is making the most power on the least amount of boost.
