@paul s I come to this version from the one by PFC, which I absolutely love. Now I find that I love this version, too. Both, each in its own way, are fantastic, and show the love that the musicians have for the song. Thank you, and bravo! This is something special.
Indeed the PFC version is excellent (all PFC does is just great). And of course it was our inspiration. Thanks for you praise and motivation. Take care.

Ah, a superb original arrangement of a favorite tune by these very talented musicians and vocalists. Great production values, too! It doesn't get any better than this. Many thanks to all for this lively and entertaining rendition of a favorite Jerry Garcia/Robert Hunter song.
Thanks you so much Jazz Del Mar, for taking the time to wite. And of course for your lovely encouraging words. One doesn't look for praise, but when it comes, you should enjoy it. And we very much enjoy yours. All good things for you. Paul
Song always makes me cry , such fond memories of shows from the past , the dead just have such a way of blending their talents and Jerry’s heart felt story telling . They are not just songs pumped out by some innocuous song writer , they are heart felt experiences of life , songs like ripple , broken down palace , even fire on the mountain , he lived and loved Life with passion and these folks have captured some of the magic Many thanks to all !
Thank you Trbird100... such a heartfelt comment, much appreciated. Indeed Jerry and the rest were very special. Uncle John's Band and Casey Jones do it for me, Sugar Magnolia the list goes on. A beautiful version of Friend of the Devil with David Grisman... sensational.
I love the lyrics and especially like the lilt of the steel guitar backing , which gives the melody that nostalgic country atmosphere! Paul, I note you share the lead vocal in a dialogue with two others. I like the vocal harmonies of all the singers!
Hello Paul, you've all poured your hearts into this cover and it shows! Absolutely in love with this, especially the male vocals, with the females in the background creating a lovely harmony. You can see how each and every person is passionately playing this song, and Jerry would be proud if he were here today! Would love to see other covers of Grateful Dead songs, much love and I hope that you stay safe and well!
Wow Diego - what a lovely delightful comment. Sort of thing that makes it all worthwhile. We are all now glowing. You too stay healthy, safe and sane (The Grateful Dead can help with that.)

Absolutely delightful! Bringing together (virtually) so many musicians - mostly amateurs - and merging their discrete contributions into something as beautiful as this cover version must have been quite a challenge. But the result speaks for itself. It is my perception that it captures the true spirit of the original while adding more richness to it.
Just found this now towards the end of 2022. Looking back on that time of isolation and sickness and unknowns, such a moving piece. Making a way to unite and carry on in the wheel of life. Really beautiful rendition, ty
Thank you Never_talk_to_ Cops. Wow quantum physics applied to song... praise indeed. I'm sure Rober Hunter and Gerry Garcia would have loved your comment too.
@@pauls4609 Yeah, I heard a group called playing for change doing their version of honky tonk woman. Watched it and was impressed and started watching more of their stuff.
