Nice one mate! Good to see you putting a few in the tucker box for a change. Nice to see you using such light gear on the reef. So many people gravitate to 10,000 size reels when what's actually required is a nice 4000/5000 size like the Stardic. Do you have a fav reef outfit for this kind of vibe fishing?
You bet, so much more fun on the mid range tackle. Favourite outfit is by far this combo in the video, 7Foot Zodias spin rod with the 5000 Stradic. Used to use my 5000 Sustain for this style of stuff but finding the new Stradic handling it nicely. The monoque butt on the zodias means you feel even if the smllest of bites like that tiny fish i caught at the start. Plenty of power in the zodias too.

Yep very impressed with the braid trick for getting out hooks, only had to do it a handful of times but everytime people are amazed how well it works. The vibe slays out there.

hahaha yep would be a lot easier. So fun out there, but the trip out there isn't for everyone though. I use the "Fishig Times" app mate for bite times based on the solunar calendar
