Hi! Thanks. That adhesive is to adhere the screen to the frame. It usually comes with the screen. But, if you have glue (i use b7000) and put glue in place of that adhesive you should still be fine. I normally use both anyway and sometimes when it doesn't come with it i just use glue or of i feel like it ill sue double sided tape.

A lot of these screens come without 120hz support. Did you check this one? How much does it cost`?

And the parts to fix it are 38$ (bought a screen with a tiny dot but i can live with it as i put dark mode on everything
total price is 79$ It even still has android 11 so no line problems for me!

Ouch! I think its possible but you have to be super super careful and slow. But to be honest I wouldnt try it.
