Was wondering why so many people gave this vid a thumbs down. I understand now. I HATE commercials. Still, thumbs up 👍 from me. Very informative. Thanks 😊
I have a s20 plus which had some water damage. It doesn't pick up service anymore. I'm not sure what the reason is. I tried changing the board and antennas and it still doesn't work. Do you know any possible solutions? Could it be the charging port board? Or maybe one of the ribbons?

bro the first thing you went for when you were connecting back all the flex wires is you plugged the battery in first which is dangerous bcz u might cause static shock to the motherboard and damage it permanently or even blew a resister
Like the tear down but how is it going to say screen replacement with details, even say screen replacement in video, then not do it. 22min of my time was just filled with how to get there but not what to do when all you have left is replacing the screen.
The screen replacement is usually mid frame and LCD combo. He was showing you all how to get everything out to swap over to the new mid frame and screen. It's too much and risky to seperate the Top glass from LCD cause the glass is do thin it breaks easily.
I dropped my s20+ phone out of my pocket going 40 mph on a dirt bike. It shaterd the screen and dinged up the frame on all 4 corners. Lucky even though the case fell off it didn't get a scratch on the back. I was going to get it replaced locally until I found out they were not original amoled screens but lcd knock offs. Plus they do not have the machine that makes it ip68 certified. It just puts it back on the old adhesive. So I sent it to Samsung. It was $280 for screen replacement. But to my surprise they replaced the frame as well.
Bad idea to plug in battery before other parts are in. No need to "make sure it's flush". There not a lot of space to misplaced the battery and it has a very flexible cable for plenty of wiggle room so plugging it in before plopping it down doesn't really do anything except increase your risks. If you do plug it in, then unplug it before finishing the rest of the repair. Common sense.
Whay would you put Screen Replacement if you don't even replace the screen?!?!
Where's the screen replacement?!

Where can I buy the S20+ screen replacement?
Can u install the 5g antenna on s20 plus that only have LTE? Will the 5G work?
Nope
Is it true that if the FFC is removed it has to be re-paired to the device for the camera to function again ?

He missed Heating up the screen to remove it and placing new adhesive
Could've at least explained it

You should invest in zip pocket pair of pants to be on a dirtbike. It may help prevent that.
Thanks for the information I needed it.
The s20 didn't get the mm wave because it was to challenging to fit in the 6,2" frame. The s20+ and ultra do have it in snapdragon model.
Puts the screen and seals the back with out testing it? Hmmm. Strange.
The s20+ has all 3 antennas. Just the s20 doesn't.
