Do you think maybe they are trying to entice RC customers to migrate to Celebrity? Seems like the pricing power for the RC brand has surpassed Celebrity pricing power.
Absolutely. I think they want them to graduate up to celebrity and silversea to continue to make way for the millennial and gen z crowd
And the loyalty match was in place years ago, between Royal Caribbean and Celebrity , just not to the exact match es it will be right now.

Question. If you sail on say Celebrity can you out those points on RC or do they stay with the brand you sail with?
Nope. You accrue on the line you are on. So I would be elite plus on celebrity. But would not technically move up until pinnacle or I accrued enough actual celebrity points

You can be a captains club Elite member as a child at Celebrity, you can be a diamond Plus member at Royal Caribbean as a child as my grandson is.
You have to be 18 to status match. Not to have the status
