We sailed on Meraviglia in September. The embarkation was a huge nightmare. It was over 2 hours standing in line. Our boarding passes said, " Fast Track boarding." Nothing about embarkation was fast. We did have a great time on our cruise. If you sail out of Brooklyn, do not get in the fast line. People who were in the regular lines were getting on the ship faster than the "fast track line."

Hope they add these to the Epic as well. They never used the spegiel tent!

Wow! That looks amazing! I wonder what the Butler situation is like being separated from the rest of Yacht Club. Are they assigned to cabins there and in YC proper?

Love the idea of Horizon Park, kinda like some of the Celebrity ships. We really enjoyed the real lawn on Celebrity Eclipse!

I was on the Encore, on the cruise, just before it sailed to the UK, for its upgrade. The lounge chairs were hard to find on those days when it was 95 degrees, in Central America.

any update about the ncl epic refurbishment?

I love the changes. I went on Joy and didn't notice the observation lounge change at all. Everyone wants to sit near the two deck floor to ceiling windows anyway. I will miss moderno though

Just had to comment to say.... AJ's Santa sweater is maybe the best sweater I've ever seen! Love it!

MSC lost me period. Trying new drinks or beers is out the window because now you have a limit, better like it. If a bartender makes a bad margarita, you better like it because it counts too. They just want more money. Bye MSC.

I rewound this three times and I still don't know the non-alcoholic drink package price. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So if you don't buy a drink package is there any coffee, tea or soft drinks available that is included or do you have to buy each cup of your morning coffee or afternoon tea?

Not happy. Having choice was nice. Ez. Got you some drinks at a fair price. Ez+ was the fair standard, the best package. Premium package would be more for all your top shelf liquors. Msc is going the way of the American cruise lines

We head out in March and this list was super helpful! Such a large ship; it's nice to have a small list of must-dos!

All adults in a cabin have to have the same drink package, right? So this will probably stop absolutely nothing. What maniac couple on a cruise BOTH drink 15 drinks? Now the poor wife (probably) will have to go to the bar to get drinks when he hits 15.

Is there anywhere to hangout a the terminal? Or better off staying on ship, often wonder why even stop .

Does this include water bottles/juices/coffee or only 15 alcohol drinks?

Oh well.. i use to start the day out with some beers at the pool then wine at lunch and wine at dinner and then some drinks on the evning easily adding upp to 15 total guess i have to start with the drinks now like 9 in the morning so if i hit my limit i can purchase beers later it will be cheeper that way ^^ cuz if i drink my beers first like always and then want more after the limit the drinks gonna be more expensive ( should be more like 6 -8 drinks and like free beers -_-)

Great review!! I went right after you from Dec 8-15. I agree with almost everything you said. I actually love all the broadway shows and was disappointed with the carousel show. 100% agree with Manuel was great! He really brought joy and positive energy to the cruise!! Love all the themed parties. I definitely recommend MSC!!

After saying I would never sail on MSC again after the July cruise where I met you, I’ve booked two back two back 7-day sailings on the Presioza (sp?) in January out of Southampton. Thanks for your no-nonsense, informative, and timely updates for so many cruise lines. Byte Sized? Maybe. But always packed with usefulness. 😊

Cash grab for sure! 6 a.m.? Anyone who drinks before noon has troubles and others on ship will suffer as well! noon to 3 is ENOUGH! And no extra drinks.

So the female singer, Pablo, and a couple of the other cast members from House of Houdini were onboard when we first saw this show back in April 2024, I'm curious if they might have different contracts than other crew members. We loved House of Houdini so we'll definitely be seeing that show again!!

I went on the seaside same time you went on this, my cruise was amazing!!!! Left from Miami. Warm enough to swim. Had a great first experience with MSC! Definitely recommend!!!
