the small town I grew up in is getting too many people; smaller mom and pop shops are fading away while big corporations are taking over real estate. If I ever live in a small town like this, I want to preserve what's there and the culture.
Today North Bend is expanding with more city folk wanting to live in a "small" town area, but they always want something to change in our town. Why can't you just deal with the things that our there, not like we need another public swimming pool.
I'm sure the Indians went through the same problems "your" town is going through. But it's inevitable. Your town will see change as we city folks flood it with new ideas and businesses !!
One of these days, I'm going to move out of Seattle and move to North Bend. I love that small town feeling but never actually got to live anywhere outside the Seattle area. :(
Snoqualmie in Indian dialect means moon valley. I lived on Moon Valley Rd. in North Bend in the early 70's. I loved it there, with all it's beauty. I am sorry to say that I am saddened by what it has become now. Still beautiful, but way too crowded now. Sad sad.
There’s a lot of people how moved away including me but less face it what we miss the most was the aswom people there. Leo and Ross shout out to you guys.
It's far enough from Seattle that it's noticeably cheaper than there or on the Eastside, but still not cheap (it's ultimately a Seattle metro area bedroom community, with all that entails in terms of demand and prices that people are willing to pay). There's some ongoing development, but comparatively little if you look at neighboring towns like Snoqualmie, so there might be a limited number of good house options on the market at any given time.
Used to live in Seattle and would always go visit that town. It’s very beautiful! I recommend going there!
i love this video that present the litlle town of usa great channel

Ain't no small town now after all these seattle folks moved in. Roundabouts everywhere. Be prepared to sit in traffic
Are there any goods bars in town...aka nightlife?...or is all that in Seattle?...from Ireland
