I was always a chevy guy but Dodge really hit it out of the park with the challenger. My dad has a V6 one. They are fantastic cars and look awesome. I wish some of the other manufacturers would do as good of a job on the retro cars. The camaros are ok but they don't even look anything like the old ones. They look like a matchbox car. Hats off to Dodge.

Yeah, every new version makes me want it. An article, on jalopolink I think, was great. Compared Dodge's marketing to Porsche. Meaning a model/version for every taste. Challenger has what, 12 different versions now to choose from? Porsche has like 16 or more. Comes down to "what type of driving/style do you like.

Will the mustang and Camaro are better all around in general and considering the mustang gt with the pp1 and auto will hit 11.8 at 119 mph in the 1/4 they didn't a drag pack like this. The 1320 came out so they could claim fastest n/a muscle car even though the others don't have drag radials which would clearly beat it

Lol at all you negative nellys that are talking crap about the 1320 but don't even know anything about it. Also the challenger is still selling quite well and outselling some of its competition. So they really don't have to be in a big hurry and replace the current platform. What they are doing is very smart and they are really impressing a lot of people with the features they are bringing out. They are smoking the competition. Good job Dodge! And the Black Eye paint color is killer. Please make it available in the future. Even the name is cool.

Drag race better than other versions. Not roll racing on the streets, that's for amateurs and everyone cheats. This car is for actual bracket racers and those who go to drag strip frequently. The trans brake, line locks, torque reserve feature, beefed up Demon axles, drag race specific suspension mode, etc etc. These are things those serious about drag racing spend over $10k on to put on their Challenger. This comes with it stock and those that buy it will know why it's special.
Those guys who drag race their Challenger already will be ones upset. Do they trade in for the 1320 model or keep sinking $ into their older version adding these features to it?

The T/A (Trans Am) aint going nowhere anytime soon. It's an options package from the 60s, 70s like a Daytona Charger. Challengers are selling like crazy these days. Dodge gives the people what they want as long as it makes money.
Im glad they have a big imagination when it comes to designing this cars every year.

I completely overlooked like, but didn't realize that the 1320 was not a Widebody. I thought the Widebody would better for 1/4 mile times. Although I have seen a new Widebody scat pack race a 2017 392 SRT. Both challengers and the 392 SRT won every race. They did dig, and roll races. Full disclaimer, the 392 SRT did have wider tires on the rear so explains the dig race, but I believe the Widebody kit adds drag. Top speed of Widebody Challenger Hellcat 195 mph where narrow body is 199 mph.

I just got my 1320 this past weekend. White....for that Stormtrooper look. That way, when the cops stop me, I can tell them that this is not the Challenger they seek. I'm getting ready to order the TA 392 CAI kit. Dodge should really consider putting the TA 392 CAI on the 1320, or offer it as an option. What good is having that nice, open hood scoop if your not putting it to the best use?

i'm confused! What can this car do that is uniquely different from a scat pack or hellcat or a red eye. All that is said is that you can go grocery shopping and to the track. Can't you do that with the other trim levels?

DQ Patrick yeah saw these in person at nhra nationals. They did multiples passes in them and fastest was 12.3 and this is on a track that's perfectly prepped for top fuel dragsters.

But I bet nobody caught the Blooper! #1 the Dodge exec said the car will run 11.7 at 115, you saw the car go down the track from different angles but you never saw the Trap lights, 11.7 would have looked nice #2 when they're showing the freeze frame of the dashboard you see the recent drag race time was 12. 8 and the best time it had did was 12.0🤔

M3 E90 you didn't watch the video or else know nothing about the regular scat pack if you think this car is exactly the same. And my scat pack with Dynamics package brakes from 60 mph in about 100 ft. That's pretty impressive for a 4200lb car.

Mr_ NutZ my Demon has run 10.53 without ANY crate items, full leather interior, every heavy option you can add, not on transbrake or TQ reserve, and the DA was 2800.... even a basic moron can understand when fall comes around LOTS of Demons will be in the 9s after owners learn how to actually race them.
the 1 thing these cars do need is much higher quality paddle shifters. Get rid of the plastic and give me a carbon fiber or titanium or magnesium paddle shifter with a nice click when used and make them bigger.
