I find it funny how Herta keeps gicing words of affirmation to MC when they get stuck with IX just to pull you out of your hopelessness. Then she goes explaining that IX didn't mean for all that depression. It just happens around it. Kinda like how a big sister would be explaining how a bummer child is to the other kids.
Btw there are infinite paths. Anyone can become an Aeon, even your mom. They may choose a previous path or a new path.
Whats the requirements for being an Aeon anyways?
Maybe it's something to do with willpower? Like if there was a determined intelligent being so committed to... drinking water (or something, idk) and dedicated their entire existence to drinking water, then maybe they could start the Path of Hydration?

so maybe one of the conditions is rejection of material(physical) world,or willpower?

Like I think the best example of a regular person to an Aeon-like state of being would be Otto Apocalypse from Honkai Impact 3. Near the end of his arc, he was connected to the Imaginary Tree, the absolute construct of existence, and was able to use and manipulate limitless Imaginary Energy. Though I'm thinking that he might actually be something far greater than an Aeon considering that his usage of Imaginary Energy wasn't limited to a path.

One could become an aeon by becoming an absolute embodiment of a principle or way of life and reaching or pulling power from that.
Akivili, the Aeon of Trailblaze, was more like a man than an aeon, but it could just be his way of unrestricted freedom, as by the path of the Trailblaze. As much as he seemed like a man, he may have become an aeon due to an unswaying devotion to freedom

I think its because nothing signifies "protection" more than a rock.
And, you would excpect a rock to be old and wise too. Thats just something people do in lore writing and it works really well.

As I understand it, the Path of The Hunt all about ambition, movement, and inevitable death. The Path of Abundance with its focus on spreading everlasting indomitable life is antithetical to The Hunt, which is why Lan is trying to kill Yaoshi.
Lan ascended when his homeworld became overrun by the "immortal zombies" that become of those who are "blessed" with long lives by Yaoshi. Lan wants revenge for his homeworld.
So Baizhu VS Hu Tao but Celestial Level.
Both actually have their purpose like Nature. If there is no predator, prey will destroy the echosystem.
Imo, Eternal life makes The Hunt irrelevant to the universe.

Xipe the Harmony seems like one of the scariest Aeons to me. The Aeon itself appears to be a hivemind that seeks to assimilate all living beings in the universe for its ideal of Harmony. Because they believe that if every single being is integrated into one harmonious hivemind, then everyone would only follow one will, and there would be no disagreement between people, no wars, hatred, or indifference, only endless harmony at the price of free will.

Of you look at Data Bank...there is 15 known Aeons in the universe but according to Kafka some of them had died being killed by another Aeon or dissappear without a trace

5) Ena the Order
Accroding to Kafka....Ena the Order perish because her path overlapped with Xipe the Harmony WHILE Tayzzyroth the Propagation got annihilated by other Aeon (probably by Lan the Hunt)

Yaoshi and Lan are some of the most interesting Aeons.
Yaoshi being essentially the goddess of healing, life and peace. Very likely with good intentions tries to help everyone, but doesn't concern herself any further than that and lets her abominations run rampant.
Lan's purpose is to exterminate all of her creations, even if he had to destroy entire civilizations.
Neither one is particularly good or bad
Lan doesn't destroy civilizations though, just look at the Xianzhou.

What I find interesting is, there are more Aeon's than there are path's. Sorta implying that there is more to this Universe than even we can discover. Furthermore, it may even hint at Enemy Path's, which would be pretty fun to encounter

I like the relationship between Lan The Hunt and Yaoshi The Abundance. One side believes in altruism and immortality, but also shows just how dangerous immortality is in the long term, and her followers, especially the Borisin and Wingweavers, are quite destructive, the Wingweavers beings somewhat racist as they look down on races who can't fly and Borisin enslaving the Foxians, who are a related species to them.
Still, i do want to see some characters from the side of the Denizens of Abundance, it could make for interesting characters who go against the general beliefs of their people or have a variation of it. Plus, based on the Prisoner In Deep Confinement Relic set, the Borisin would look pretty awesome, as the suit was made to contain Warmuhtar Hoolay, last of their leaders.
Akivili the Trailblaze is "missing"
I think MC is a shade or splinter of Akivili hence why they can house a Stellaron
That or Elio is trying to groom the MC as a replacement for Akivili
Fuli is actually the oldest Aeon since its stated they've been in history since the beggining of time
Just a little info too, if you are aware of Honkai Impact 3rd lore, the universes are technically set this way. Each universe are leaves in the Imaginary tree, and every branch is a timeline. Every fallen leave represents a dead universe, which falls to the Sea of Quanta, an endless sea that dissolves everything. And Aha, was mentioned to be the sole Aeon to had climbed the top of the Imaginary Tree, only to find that all is meaningless in the universe they are in (which makes me think that he's the reason Nanook decided to destroy everything).
spoiler for Honkai Impact 3rd:
this is because civilizations are nothing but the Tree's "weapons" to consume the Sea. Both the Tree and the Sea are sentient in a way, they each aims to consume the other. The "Honkai" can be seen as the Sea's weapon against civilization, an energy that reacts to advancement like a natural phenomenon. but it's a double edge sword. Because civilizations that prevails over Honkai, would go on to become powerful species. An example is the "enemies" Welt was chasing in HSR universe, they called "Sky People" a race so advanced they can invade other universes.

Bassicly. There is different paths that characters can take. So bassicly based on the kit. Each character has a path. The mc is on the path of destruction and that's how their kit actually is. It's the same for all characters. There is 7 paths I think. The thing is tho. Each path has an aeon which is like the god of that path
Its a bit confusing in simulated universe you can choose elation path and there's no erudition path but in reality there's no actually elation path but erudition
