There was also a scene before prime gets there where the construction attack ultra magnus, sideswipe, tracks and red alert. The autobots retreat. They kill red alert and show the constructions run after them. That’s why megatron has a smile on his face
Vince DiCola composed the entire score off the storyboards because there was no finished film for him to watch at the time. Also why the Marvel Comics adaptation is so hated because they also were working off the storyboards with very different scenes shown.

No excuses, no fear, just facing it with everything he has. The music, the animation, the villain (Megatron ... so bad@$$), the "stay away lad, thats Prime's fight" from Kup. I could probably watch this a hundred times, and still find new reasons why it is as you say, perfect.

I shed more than a few tears when Prime died.

The first sentence "Megatron must be stopped no matter the cost" chokes me up a lot, as it shows how Prime will put his life on the line to make sure that, even if he dies, his compatriots can say he did what he could, and this is from a bloody animated film, they don't make them like this anymore.....
I am only 19, and this scene, when I saw it for the first time, almost brought me to tears because of how EPIC-LY AWESOME IT IS. And EVERY time, and I mean, literally EVERY TIME, I hear the song, my mind goes to that scene where Optimus blasts upward and starts DECIMATING Decepticons left and right before he faces off with Megatron. I do think it was a heap of BS that Optimus died and Megatron lived on as Galvatron, but still, EPIC SEQUENCE
I remember being in the theatres to see this and when I saw Optimus race off to face Megatron and this music start I knew we were gonna see some real action especially when Optimus took to the air mid transformation and started blowing away the Decepticons I remember hearing the other kids cheering him on.
Nothing brings a tear to my eye faster than knowing the absolute and utter glee I feel when I watch this can never be equaled. This film cannot have a sequel or a prequel, no spin-off or parallel that can compare. This film in itself is a masterpiece and can't be compared.
