Hi great video, I was wondering if you know the answer.. I've transferred images & videos via the same method as you have shown, I've then transferred images via social media, but it won't let me share videos from my phone, says format not recognised for this application?
Do you know how I can resolve this?
Thanks for the positive feedback. What app have you used to share to social media? I'm usually using Google Photos to share (but of course you have to activate the folder there ...) and it always worked.
When I click the Fn1 button it brings up the 4k settings?
This a great video! Some of my videos are not transferring and says video not supported by app . Do you know why that is :(
Sorry to hear and thanks for the nice comment. There are so many complaints about this app. It's not any good and very unreliable and Panasonic has no intention to fix that. If you need reliable and fast transfer of your footage then it only works with USB cable or take out the SD card and put into a card reader on your PC

i used to be able to transfer videos to my phone very easily but now it doesn’t let me. The transfer button at the bottom is gray instead of white, i’m not sure what it is or if i can transfer my videos any other way
Panasonic has removed some capabilities, but there's still the Panasonic "Image App" which works with the WiFi of the camera. Tried it just about 1 month ago and still worked.
When I plug into the PC using data cable supplied the camera doesn't come up on my PC, what do I need to do?

I highly recommend NOT to do - it's a risk with every device. For some more - for some less. I've already killed some devices like this.

Basically you can't.. But panasonic have a 'dummy' battery kit to shot while plugged.
Hey! just had an issue about transferring. when i go to transfer a video(about a minute or less) theres a tiny icon in the corner of the video showing a picture of a camera and phone with a line down the middle signaling that i cant transfer the videos but i never had this problem before. any help would be appreciated!

How long time need for charging
Long ... I guess 2 hours or so ... but doesn't bother me ... I'm usually at 60 to 70% in the evening and only have to charge overnight or even only once per 2 days ;-)
My gh5 and g9 dont let me transfer videos through the app to my iphone. Maybe only certain format can be transfered?
Or an Apple restriction? Sorry no experience with that. Still works pretty stable on my Xiaomi Mi8 Lite

I usually transfer videos now with the USB cable or SD card reader. The software is very unreliable and takes too much time even when it's working ...

Panasonic is difficult. Best is to transfer the pic with the SD card to the PC (card reader) and upload to the cloud and sharing to the phone this way if the panasonic app on your iphone can't receive them directly
Where are the transferred photos and videos stored on the phone?
Sorry can't remember exactly. Usually I've been sharing it to google photos from there and worked no problem.
What do I do if I want only 1 Pic to be transferred to my smartphone?
I think you can just select one instead of all ... but I don't have the cam here ...

My camera will not show the QCODE
Mine still has it, but you can also try to connect manually to the wifi or just transfer the pics with the cable or TF card

Very strange. Yes this app is not good nor stable. Better connect the camera directly to the PC with the cable or use the SD card to transfer the pics. I'm still using the app, but I always need to try 3-4 times to finish the transfer. Annoying.

The website service from Panasonic is not working any more as far as I heard, but the app still works, but you can also connect to the wifi without QR code ... just search in the phone settings / wifi after turning on the wifi on the cam
Mine works sometimes...others not. Will connect to phone...then connection fail when transferring. Not impressed with this cam.
Maybe better to take out the sd card and use a card reader

I've never tried 4K, but maybe the file is too large. Try with USB connection or take out the SD card to transfer the file
