Miniature Schnauzer Loves Dad

- Every morning when I get ready for work, all is well until I put my jacket on and head downstairs. Buckey gets real angry and doesn't want me to leave as you will see. At the end of the day though he is all to glad to see me and this repeats itself every day.
We have one that is 17 a great dog we Love him.❤❤❤❤
Thank you for showing us Buckey's love for you. Only someone who has had a schnauzer would understand. We have had 3 of them and the love so fiercely. They are so loyal. Once you have had a schnauzer with their piercing eyes and heart of love it is hard to have another breed of dog, although we love all good dogs. God bless you. Richard and Judy.
tell me about it. my uncle is a dog trainer and ive been trainig dogs since i was 15....even though i was the guy gettin bit all the time, a mini SCHNAUZER was the first to obedience train....the sad part was that my uncle told me i was goin to train the dog since i talkd about him so much. so after getting all the puppies out to clean their cages and cleaning them them i started....and i was shocked...first because this was the first time i had handled a dog for obedience purposes on leash....and in 5 minutes i had heal, sit, stay, and come down pat....and my uncle was impressed to say the least....the hardest thing to get BRAXTON to do was walk on a leash....but i had a pit that was a year older and i used her to help me with this....and over a 45 minute period over two days using the pit he caught on very quickly. DOWN which is the command that is usually the command to teach thats a lil tricky....i had Braxton goin DOWN on command inside of 3 minutes after showing him just once....im in tears now think about him....it wasnt the money i spent on him.....it wasnt the training i put on him....IT WAS THOSE 9 YEARS AND 10 MONTHS WE HAD TOGETHER, THE LONG WALKS, THE LONG CAR RIDES UP AND DOWN THE EAST COAST, THE STEAKS AT RESTAURANTS I SNUCK HIM INTO, IT WAS ABOUT THE CHICKEN FRIED I WOULD ORDER FOR HIM WHEN I ASKED FOR THE CHECK FOR TEXAS ROADHOUSE, THE 8 PIECE CHICKEN TENDERS FROM CHEDDARS.....AND RIGHT NOW ITS JUST ABOUT HOW I MISS HIM....SCHNAUZERS ARE THE DEFINITION OF LOYALTY....but because of BRAXTON a schnauzer will always be in SHAWN DAVIS' house.....and he was allowed to do whutever he wanted and get on whutever he wanted to get on....he would never get in a chair to get on the kitchen table but he would get on the table with his hind legs on the floor and his front legs on the table. but ANY table that was outside was FAIR GAME....we never put food on the tables outside when hes loose.because he has shown people that if its something up there he wants he will get up there and get it.....MISS YOU B.....and i swear im naming my STANDARD SCHNAUZER BRAXTON too....B was BRAXTONS nick name....this one will be B2.....fuck yea.....IM SORRY FOR THE RANT.....i was in myself at the moment....

@@shawndavis4015your posting was a little long, but I read it all. I have a miniature Schnauzer, that's 13 years old now. I've had him for less than two years, but it seems like I've had him all his life. I'm very attached to him. I too with all of my pets have always fed them what I'm eating. I know some people say you shouldn't, and if you do, they expect you to do it every time. But I wanted to make any pet I had, dog or cat a companion.
Frank Paya damn, I just read it myself....I was ALL IN MY FEELINGS....but as soon as we move, I’m hetting a DONERMANN, than a SS. But yea frank....that shit was long.....lol....thanks for reading it and also thanks for the reply....
@@shawndavis4015 no more schnauzers?
I had a dog that would suddenly develop a limp when I was getting ready for work. At first I was worried he was getting arthritis and was planning a trip to the vet on payday, until I realized his limp disappeared as I pulled out of my driveway and only reappeared when I was putting on my work uniform...
My dog wasn't sick, he was just a drama queen!!
Lol, sounds like my Player. My daughter would tell us every day. He's hurt, look at his limp. She stopped talking & playing with him when the secret was out. Dogs are characters as well.
Mine acts like she's hurt her paw and then she sees a bird and starts running
CoffeeCupGoodness that was too funny!!! Made my day thank you!
OMGosh, that is the funniest thing I have ever heard, I cannot stop laughing !!!! Unreal LOLLOLOLO
Hilarious! My sister's Jack Russel had the whole fake shiver to get inside down pat. He overplayed it a few too many times and lost all credibility. Second stage hypothermia in 85° weather?
The thing about mini schnauzers is that you have to outsmart them. And that's hard to do since most of the time they are smarter than their owners.
Mine has me well trained!
I have two-male and female. The female thinks she is “in charge”. And sometimes I think she just might be! I’ve had eight over the years and usually two at a time. Best dogs ever!! ❤️🐾
But not ALWAYS smarter! 😂😉 They have to have a perfect match! 😂❤️
mine is pretty obedient and i got him after he was 2 months old, the old owners used to hit him and hate him after they got a child (typical failed parenthood that put baby over pet instead of teaching the pet), he was very shy and destructive at the start tearing stuff apart especially newspaper as he didn't trust me and my family and because the old owners used to hit him with newspapers... but then after a time he became calm and loving, and we give him plushies every month so he can chew and play with something lol

I completely understand. My very first dog was the most wonderful Miniature Schnauzer. He was with my husband and I for 13 years 5 months and 8 days. He went over the Rainbow Bridge on September 4, 2019. He was my very first dog in my life and I am a senior citizen. With tears rolling down my cheeks as I type, I know you understand. I thank God for such a loyal, loving and unconditional love he gave us. His name was Ashton Anthony Harris. I pray my heart will heal.
How sweet. Bucky truly loves you. Brought back memories of my 4 schnauzers over the course of the 1960's to the year 2014. Our last schnauzer would leap for joy when we got home and would jump up on the couch and almost dance about the room, when we got home.
How old are you?
shnauzers are the best
Reading the comments I am simply amazed at how many dog whispers there are out there watching TH-cam. I have had schnauzers for over 40 years now & Schnauzers Rule!
They really do. This is my first smart dog. What an amazing little friend he is.
Look at all of the love a Schnauzer has to give. They are so intelligent, affectionate and loyal. My Charlie gets sad and hides under the table when he sees me grab my purse. He makes me feel so bad but when I return he's at the door waiting with loads of kisses. ♥️💋🐾♥️🐾
My Charlie passed away 2/27/24 I miss his presence in my life. Schnauzer's make a positive impact in life but when it's time to part it's a dark place until we meet again Charlie.❤🌈💋
there are the dogs breeds and schnauzers. Schnauzers are like unique type of personality, I got one, she always stares at me at the door when I go to work, and wave her tail and sees me like "I miss you" but no barking or any fuss...the thing is when I get home, she jumps around, wave her tail and goes to greet me...then she forgets I'm in and goes to play with her toys. They may be small, but their hearts are incredibly...big. haha
thats disrespectful and should be ashamed for telling that lie....SCHNAUZER hearts arent big, A SCHNAUZER'S HEART IS MOTHER EFFN HUGE!!!! they do not care....i thought it was women because he actually belonged to a gf i had at the time. a woman couldnt touch or hug me....or so i thought....until a good friend who i hadnt seen in years hugged me hit me a few times and he had a fit....i was actually glad he wasnt a big breed dog because i had to stop him from biting my homie.....AND HE NEVER LIKED THAT GUY....EVERYONE WAS COOL EXCEPT HIM...BRAXTON wouldnt even allow him to touch unless i held him...and even then it was a constant growl and he would give me a look that told me he didnt like this guy one bit.....so i kept the guy away....i seriously hope i dont spoil the next one like i did with him.....
Awesome, we have two mini schnauzers and they are such lovers! The one is a hugger as yours is, the other one just flops himself onto our laps! So much personality in those little guys!
I just lost my dog Buddy. This warms my heart and he looks just like my baby.
I just lost my buddy as well..he was my lil shadow 😪
BUDDY looks like my last schnauzer, Jake.
Me too! Miss his love!
Sorry for your loss.🥺
I am so sorry for your loss. You will meet again. I have a 10 year old Schnauzer he owns my heart. You know how it is. The unconditional love is sent from above.♥️🐾💞
My last mini Schnauzer’ was named Jasmine. She was the sweetest most endearing dog and we were crazy close too❣️ After she passed it felt like I lost a family member. It was so hard on me. I still choke up whenever I think about her because of missing her. However, I rescued a Toy Poodle who had been abused. Saved his life and have had him 5 years now. He will be my last dog. But, I have loved all my dogs over the years and know how much they enrich our lives. And we enrich theirs❣️⭐️
I KNOW WTF YOURE GOIN THRU....IM NOT GETTING ANOTHER DOG PERIOD UNTIL I CAN THINK AND TALK ABOUT BRAXTON AND NOT TEAR UP....I PUT HIM DOWN IN MAY....I LITERALLY NOTICED A CPPL OF WEEKS AGO THAT I JUST TEAR UP.....BUT I KNOW WHEN I GO TO GET ANOTHER ONE THATS GOIN TO BE EMOTIONAL....BECAUSE IM GETTING A STANDARD THIS TIME, BUT I HAV A FEELING THAT ITS GOIN TO TAKE ME TO THE DAY WE WENT TO GET BRAXTON....HE CAME TO US AND WE CHOSE HIM FROM THAT FISRT ENCOUNTER....AND IM TRYING TO GET ONE THAT AS CLOSE TO HIS APPEARANCE AS POSSIBLE.....AND IDC IF THATS A GOOD THING OR NOT....I REALLY DONT....
@@shawndavis4015 if you have have the hope & love of God in your life, just think of how much of a glorious reunion it will be for you both🥰🐕🥰🐶🥰
@@WeAreAllGodsChildren you had to bring that shit up, didnt you? 😆
I love this video! we dont deserve them! They are amazing! my boy is 5 now and I love him more than anything! best breed in the world!
I love schnauzers the most beautiful doggies i had one named whiskers ill remember it every day
My min acts a lot like that whenever I go to school in the morning or whenever someone comes home. She's 8 and her name is Karina and without her, I probably wouldn't be here because I have really bad depression and her joy is keeping me up and running. Like of you feel the same way :)
We lost our Mini Schnauzer last Fall. We are heartbroken. I'd give anything to hear him bark at me again.
I had two Schnauzers who had good long lives. (one at a time). I just lost my second one of 15 years, 5 months ago. Still trying to get used to her not being around. So I'm right there with you. God bless.
@@actocs Thank you so much. I have been told you have one special dog in your lifetime, he was mine. It will be three years in September and I am still not over him. I am so sorry for your loss.....
Just Jack hey guys I have a question. Do you think that it still was worth it getting a dog given the grief you must have felt over their deaths? Why get a dog if they bring us lots of joy but also so much pain when they pass? I don’t mean to be harsh or rude, I am just genuinely curious because I am contemplating getting a dog myself and this question has been bugging me.
@@TheLegendTheLegend-ph9fs I'm not sure how to answer that...I swore I wouldn't get another one because I can't take the pain of losing her. But 6 months later I bought another Miniature Schnauzer puppy. Right now I'm waiting for her to grow up enough so she's ready to take away from her mother. The pain of grieving is still there and will be for a long time. Even so...I wouldn't trade the time that I spent with my dogs.
The Legend27 The Legend27 I just lost my Schnauzer. I was and still am heartbroken. We all miss his presence, even my other dogs are grieving. I have lost many dogs over the years due to cancer and heart problems. However, one fur baby does not replace the next, but it is knowing there are dogs that need a home and love. I can provide both.
My schnauzer used to cry but I give out treats so I trained him to stop barking when I leave. Also if someone is with him that helps.
You had me at mini Schnauzer!! I have owned 4 of them!!! Smartest dogs ever❣️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lots of schnauzers have these abandonment problems. Cute dog
Awwww he's precious!! Just like my Mum's Schnauzer Alfie whenever I arrive to visit!! Squeaks with happiness and jumps all over me for like 5 mins! Unconditional love :) Absolutely priceless! Please upload more videos of Bucky! :) x
Very beautiful!!!
I love this video. Thank heavens for Schnauzers, especially Buckey. 🥰🌟
Precious precious pup!
We had a brother & sister back in the 90’s and the Brother had not so much to do with me UNTIL the Sister got in my lap at the computer with a bear hug LOL. THEN he wanted attention 😂😂😂! Such great dogs but we had to give them up 😩. Ended up with Shih Tzus after that.
Loved BOTH breeds 🥰…. So lovable!
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Bucky is precious.
I miss my mini Max. He acted just like Buckey when my husband would come home. I stopped leaving home as much because I couldn't stand to be without him ❤️
I love mine. He acts the same way.
...awh ...so sad seeing him at the door when his dad leaves for the day :(
My parents dog would get depressed as pop was getting ready for work so he started laying out a row of handkerchiefs so she could pick the one she wanted for the day. Sadness conquered
My 1yr old mini does the exact same thing just like you all is forgiven when I walk thru the door!!!
This is just precious. He is adorable. How quickly he forgets about being upset. When he sees his Dad he is soooo happy he is home. He is going to have a great evening with Dad. Lol!!!! This is so sweet......
Ours was the same way ... Poor thing never understood why we had to leave and why we didn't take her along. After work all was forgiven. Repeat for 8 wonderful years 🤗
now I know what websites mean when they say these dogs have "character." they will let you know what they like and don't. LOL
Estos peluditos son un regalo de Jehova nuestro Dios amoroso
Lovely friendship! And adorable song.
It's good to see people who care about animals!
Poor Buckie! Poor you!!! But treasure these moments cause when they are gone the worst loneliness sets in...Like mine. Boots was everything. Now she waits for me up there.
Oh thank you. I have two mini schnauzer and they bark at everything. I'm buying this today
Hi , our Mini Schnauzer Luca has the same behavior. Thanks to let us know that Luca is not the only one.
Bucky is too cute and obviously expressive when his person is not going to be w/ him. Loves his human. Great pensive music. 😁
They truly are an amazing dog. They are so loving and loyal but it's more than that. They seem to have such a big, full or well rounded personality. I don't quite know how to say it. When you have one it will be the only type of dog you will ever want again. Sometimes Mick, my dog, will sit on the couch with me, his butt against the back of the couch, then push back with his front legs so that he is sitting upright on his butt like a person. ha He will stay like that sometimes for 10 to 15 minutes! ha It amazes me. He LOVES to get on my lap and go to sleep. I have an expensive leather recliner that he is not allowed to get in unless he is on my lap and he knows it. I had a feeling he was getting in it after I left for work. One day I went out the door into the garage started my truck, pulled out of the garage and then shut the garage door. I quietly went to the front door and quietly turned the knob and started to open the door. I opened the door really fast and he was in my chair. He gave a little yelp and jumped clean out of my chair and into the hallway where I couldn't see him! ha He was scared he got caught and was going to get into trouble I think! ha I went in there and pet him for a couple minutes and then left. So, I guess he gets in my chair when I'm not home. He hasn't damaged it so I'm o.k. with it I guess.
What a sweet doggie! He obviously loves you guys so much. Minischnauzers are the best!
I truly think that schnauzers are a one person dog. My husband got one and he decided he loved ME more. He didn't like being alone, although my other dog was here too, if I left. He lived for 13 years then had a stroke. I loved him so much.
How can one not love a schnauzer? Great video, thank you for sharing!
I love that u kept his eyebrows and moustache shorter than other schnauzers, the hairs in their eyes can cause serious eye infections plus they look so much better, personally i think thats the way theyre supposed to be
What an adorable video of you and Bucky. I have a mini schnauzer myself silver, just a little lighter than Bucky who brings me just as much joy as Bucky brings you. Thank you for sharing your video.
THANKS BUCKY!!! YOURE A STAR!!!
That is too cute,,,such a great welcome home!!!
boy I miss my schnauzers (4) over the course of my life. Bumpy, Bouncy, Tucker and Mikey. They gave so much love and joy to life. Seeing Bucky so happy to have you home at the end of the day brought tears to my eyes. They love unconditionally and they are very intelligent, those schnauzers.
watch this whenever I miss my mini schnauzer tinkerbell brings back lots of good memories. sadly after 14 years she passed away early this summer. very nice video!
But it’s not sad at all. Your dog can still sense you and now is completely free and having the time of his life!! Once you know this the sadness doesn’t need to be. I talk to my dog regularly. I don’t hear him talk back but I know full-well he’s aware I talk to him. My uncle visited me sensorily at his funeral, would you believe… and after my dog passed a similar experience happened. The next state is very real. No need to doubt that and no need to be sad. Be happy for your dog. Your dog is elated!
Buckey don't play lol. He was like, "where do you think you're going?!" Adorable.
awww no wonder Bucky doesn't want daddy to leave! Daddy is sooo sweet! Thank you for sharing this =))) Hugs to Bucky!
I have owned 3 (two females and a male). makes me miss my last schnauzer "Charming Ben"... He would wait all day at the top of the stairs with his toys til I came home from work.
Funny, my brother and parents have a mini schnauzer ( I call him old man)- he always does the cry freak out when I visit my parents house. Really loving breed that just wants to be around ppl.
Best dogs ever
Isn't it nice to be so loved?
Too funny ... now I know why my mini schnauzer poodle / schnoodle he would bite the back of my feet as I would walk away I did get him to stop but he’s so loving and so smart I’m so glad I rescued him a year ago he was heaven sent
Buckey loves him so you. Brought a tear to my eye seeing him happy when you came home. awesome
Well try leaving my giant schnauzer everyday lol 😂
That dog is saying “are you really gonna wear that tie outside the house?”
Telling you off...🤣😂🤣😂🤣😁
Exactly like mine! Love it!♥️
Never seen a "cat" do that. Buckey loves you SO MUCH !! Praise Almighty GOD For HIS beautiful Creatures !!!!!
GREAT film editing! What a gorgeous nutball ... Buckey, I mean.
He is precious!
Schnauzers are the best. Gotta love Schnauzertude
Can you imagine going through that every morning?! No thanks ....
Adorable. It made my day. Thank you for sharing, :)
But he just loves you, Dad! Even while wearing that tie! LOL!
Aww, he knows the routine when you’re about to leave…. I’m going to get another mini schnauzer as soon as I can have stability. I plan to never be without him the rest of my life.
You picked the perfect best friend. They are extremely loyal and love forever - I know this from experience…….
"Never leave the pack!"
Separation anxiety is a problem with schnauzers sometimes. After a year or so mine got used to it and it helped having a second dog in the house that was ok with my coming and going (half poodle /half schnauzer). The schnauzer settled into sleeping while I was away.
I had a miniature schnauzer when I was a boy. He policed us for bad behavior. Shouting got us a warning growl. Running in the house, he'd grab your trouser leg and hang on. He had an iron grip.
Ours acts similar, just not as rowdy when we leave. Fiercely loyal. Our first Schnauzer and has been a blast - all kinds of great traits.
Aw, what a cute dog! He has such silver fur, & a mustache! 😂❤️ I live schnauzer pups, they're just irreplaceable! 😂
That’s so funny.. my schnauzer has her own ways to tell me she’s not happy, too! Poor Buckey
My dog is also a mini schnauzer and he gets super depressed when I leave hell follow me room to room and try to pull on my sleeves or untie my shoes. When I get home he gets super excited to the point that he tackles me down almost Haha he licks me, pulls my hair he does the whole nine yards. Each dog has there way or dealing with things.
Warmed my heart and made my day. Thank you!
I agree with Rick. What a sweet dog
I love schnauzers although I've never had one
chad otto, PLEASE always love your dog as much as he loves you!!
Yes, this video was shot 4 years ago and he is indeed loved! He still gets angry when I go to work most days however he is not destructive if left alone for a while. My wife works from home so she is here for him.
Chad Otto
Is this not stressful for the dog?
When we first got him he was a little destructive when we left him alone but not any longer and he has free roam of the house. Also my wife works from home so I think he's just voicing his displeasure but it's mostly an act.
Chad Otto
That's nice to know.
Just one question please. Do these dogs shed all over the floor? I have a fully carpeted house, would I be vacuuming all the time?
I shed more hair everyday than Buckey does. No you wouldn't be picking up dog hair at all.
Your dog is the Alpha Male in your house.
Well done.
And needs to be trained, change the go to work pattern, and no exciting greeting when comes home. A clam obedient dog( a tired dog) is a awesome dog 🤗
There is nothing like a schnauzer!
What is it that schnauzers love men! Mine loves my husband too!
Love ur tie!💕
Lol. Schnauzers are the best!!
Doggie just love his dad :)
Omg how cute!! I never seen a dog get to angry because dads leaving to work. I see children but not a dog love him/her ♡♥♡♥
You have inadvertently trained Bucky to exhibit these behaviors. He can be trained to act better.
John Ferguson especially by making an exuberant production with his arrival
My mini’s name was Buckwheat. 😘 Use to call him Buckers so this was really taking me back. He was the best dog/companion. I haven’t had a dog since and if I ever do again, it will be a schnauzer! 💕
My family and I just lost our mini, named Sophie, last week. I miss her waiting at the door for me with her little butt wag... We used to joke that she thought she was my wife, because anytime I kissed or hugged my wife, Sophie would get so jealous and angry. She always slept at my feet at night. I’ve had many dogs through my life, but losing her was by far the hardest.
She acts just like little children who want the daddy to stay home and play.
I don’t like it when they get so sad when they know that you are leaving. 😢
That's exactly what my dog does to me when I leave for school before anyone else is up. She ends up waking the entire family....
This Schnauzer is adorable. 😍
Awww! This reminds me of our family member, a miniature Schnauzer named ACE OF SPADES, he was the same way!😢😭
You need to get him a pal. We have two Schnauzer. That solved all our problems like what I just saw in that video.
I think spring the dog with water is the worst thing you can do but I have to admit this is so adorable. I don't know maybe spraying water is a good thing I certainly think about doing it quite a bit with my 9 week old Miniature Schnauzer LOL
He looks just like my pup. :)
in 2010 your schnauzer was 2 and so was mine....same color and height...and i remember seein this video years ago.....and how i miss BRAXTON meetn me at the top of the steps when i came home from work. well back in march of this year i had to put BRAXTON down sue to cancer. one of his testicles didnt come down and by the time i got the money to get the surgery it was too late and i still havent forgiven myself for it. he fell short 30 days short of turning 10 and 60 days of us being together 10 years....but i remember how he was when i went to work (not loud like yours). he would just stare at me. and if i wasnt home by 3, when i walkd in the door he had word and barks for me....and he was a ball of energy until he saw me get the leash because he knew that was atleast an hour and a half walk....i havent gotten another dog yet and im getting another schnauzer too....only this time im goin standard......
There is smart...then there is "Schnauzer" smart!
