    Some incredible cinematography. Great shots of blasting through the mud wipers going. Then the whole lineup of Jimmies driving in the dirt. 👍💪

    What a great looking trip. I just read about it in Tread Magazine (US) and had to search and find your videos. We're super jealous in the US that you can buy the Jimny. We'd love to have it available here. I've often thought about doing a long trip in my '88.5 Suzuki Samurai (Sierra) but wondered where I'd put everything. I'm used to the FJ Cruiser for long trips. I look forward to watching the rest of the trip videos.

      I have since changed to the Wildtrak Tracker King Single as it’s a bit lighter than the RS-1

      We have 2 more episodes coming for both this channel and the wildtrak one. I’m also going to be doing a 5th “wrap up” bonus episode where I will be doing a full walk around and break down of the rig, what I took and how it all performed including lessons learned and advice for those planning on doing similar trips in the “micro overlander” space. Thanks heaps for watching!

    hey mate, question for you, when you're doing these kinda trips on your own (no passenger), why don't you just pull the passenger seat out and have some more storage space for yourself?

    • @MightyOverlander
      @MightyOverlander  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have thought about it. There are some guys out there who have used the seat mounts and installed a cargo skid to increase their cargo space. That being said I don’t really feel the need to and if I found someone stranded I need to give a lift to or something then at least I can still help. I’ve seen all kinds of weird and wonderful ways to set these cars up, not limited to but including turning the passenger side into a sleeping area! My main focus for now is to continue improving the cargo area in the back and reduce the amount of gear I am taking. Even in my “micro” Overlander setup I still find I am taking way too much. Someone once said if something doesn’t have 2 or more uses then it’s useless. While I don’t totally subscribe to that line of thinking I do my best to find gear that is compact and has multiple applications where possible. Admittedly there is always going to be gear (like first aid and recovery gear) that rarely gets used but you can’t do without.
      TLDR at this stage I’m more included to improve the rear area before I start messing around with the front.
      Thanks heaps for watching mate and I love the questions and this is a very valid one! I hope your enjoying the adventures, I’m very much looking forward to being the team some awesome content over summer with a lot more fishing and river camping!
