Crankshaft Balancing

This is a smallblock Chevy crank being balanced on our Stewart Warner balancer. This balancer is the most accurate balancer ever made. The world's best balancing shops that use modern computerized digital balancers then use this balancer to fine-tune the balance down to zero. We have the machine set on sensitivity level 2, level 1 is for small, ultra high RPM components like electric motor armatures. At level 2 a gauge reading of 2 is considered "balanced" for street applications. A gauge reading of 1 or less is considered "balanced" for racing motors. Watch the gauge as the crank spins down & you'll see it only goes up halfway to the 1. We balance all our crankshafts to less than 1, regardless of whether they are for street or race use.

I'm sorry bro but that is a 400 crank with 400 balancer .. Chevy 350 inch balancer is a Monster compared to that one
